To paraphrase Sleaze John Kerry “Sarah Palin is the Governor who should have gone missing”. That no good SOB who could have made this country better if on his Christmas trip to Cambodia, he had stayed there.
Time for that(repeat)SOB should do an immediate “david letterman”.

remember that Sara in not a d.c. beltway insider and she dumped a bunch of gop corrupt insiders when she got elected and that pissed off a bunch of gop’ers. dont get me wrong i want Sara to run as i will vote for her in a heartbeat. But i’m saying that the rnc does not like her or want her because they dont have any real dirt on her so the rnc cant control her. I say look for the rnc to resist her and back-stab her as often as they can between now and 012....

Agreed, just because most conservative republicans want or at least would vote for Sarah, the RNC still nominates the candidates.

Unless the conservative wing can grab contrtol before 2012 I fear we're doomed.

Good post Phil. I see many post who do not seem to like Sarah. I hope it isn’t because she’s a woman.

It is because she is a complete and accomplished Woman, plain and simple. The old boys club and catty female crowd are clearly intimidated by brains, beauty, AND integrity. Gov. Palin is my last hope that we can trust Anything a politician says.

I agree with your description of her completely. I seem to notice more ‘comments’ from screen names that seem to be men - being against her. I would hope most conservative women, like myself, would support her.

“I see many post who do not seem to like Sarah.”

I don’t see that many.

Don’t know if you’re on the forum much. I’m here almost all day, every day, so it’s an accumulation over time.

When Romney dropped out, he was ahead of Huckabee. We need to move past both Romney and Huckabee.

My job brings me into contact with a lot of women, I asked a lot of then before the 2008 Election, who they would vote for, and a majority of them said Obama. I talked to them because I could not believe their answer, and usually they said not enough experience. I tried to tell them she had lots more executive experience than Obama, but it was the old “ Don't confuse me with facts.” I could not believe women would not support her. I guess I don't understand people.

Do you think they were mostly liberal type women? Anyone who stays with the news, like we do here, knows that Sarah has more experience governing than Obama.

I don't understand it either as many of those liberal women supported Hillary. I would think a lot of older men might ‘object’ to having a woman as President coming from an ‘old fashioned kindof mindset’.

Just think if maverick hadn’t lived up to his reputation and instead picked someone like Pawlenty or Ridge we wouldn’t be as entertained now by Romney and Huckabee supporters eating their hearts out.

Sarah Palin wouldn’t have a chance in hell to be POTUS in 2012 under that scenario.

Such is the fate of a nation, the possible resurrection of Reagan conservatism and the tenor of the conversation on Free Republic and other right-wing blogs is built on the cavalier decision by one so hated by the conservative movement. Poetic irony I would say.

On behalf of Sarah Palin supporters thank you maverick!

As for Romney and Huckabee supporters “Damn you maverick!”

I just sealed the envelope on my letter to the RNC after they asked me for more money. Here’s what it says:

Okay, here’s the deal… again! The Republican Party has to prove themselves worthy of any donations before I’ll ever send another dollar. Here’s the minimum of what I demand before contributing:

• Close the primaries to registered Republicans only. This will actually exclude me because I’m a conservative that’s not a member of any political party, but I’ll deal with it.
• Let the states with the strongest percentage of Republican victory have the first say in the primary season. Reward loyalty and let Iowa and New Hampshire wait their turn. Again, this won’t inure to my benefit because I’m in California and our state sucks.
• Get some Washington heavy hitters to promote Governor Palin. She’s a breath of fresh air and needs to be groomed and encouraged for bigger and better things. Stop allowing Republicans to trash her. Saturday Night Live isn’t a template for how you should behave toward her!
• Make sure that no more members of the Bush family get the national spotlight for at least the next 20 years. Those of us outside the beltway are tired of them. We want someone fresh.
• Stop funding RINO candidates! We’re tired of holding our noses and voting for the lesser of two evils. Fund solid conservatives.
• Any candidate running for national office and seeking money from the RNC should have to pass the “I’m not like Mark Sanford” test before they get anything. Seriously.
• Conservatism worked for Reagan. Liberal “moderate” maverick positioning didn’t work very well for McCain. LEARN FROM IT! Check the historical record for what worked best for the Republican Party and emulate that instead of looking for a squishy candidate to run to the middle.
• NO AMNESTY! You hear that?!? NO F*CKING AMNESTY!!! Not a single person, regardless of their country of origin.

You have two choices: Listen or keep losing. Which will it be?
