[Farrah didnt convert. She was born Catholic ]
Ahh, thank you, I didn't remember that and I did read an article that mistakenly said she was a convert.
She went to the University of Texas, as I did. When she joined the sorority they said the line of college boys, waiting to meet her, went waaaay around the block. She was a beauty.

Good grief. No wonder people think Christians are such judgmental bores. This woman never harmed anyone and has died after fighting a disease no one would want. Can we have some Christian “charity?”
I remember Freepers speaking well of Molly Ivins after she died. Five minutes before her death, they’d have hated her guts. Can we at least pray for Farrah, and let God handle the rest?

RIP Farrah.
Back in about’77 a friend and I went to a Dinah Shore tennis tournament just to get a glimpse of this gorgeous lady.
(Of course I had the poster, duh I’m a guy)

Every girl who grew up in the 70’s and 80’s tried so hard to get that hair. I’m guilty...

She was indeed an all-American beauty, and she seemed a genuinely decent human being. May she rest in peace.

Cronkite’s not doing too well either. That’ll be a raucous thread, lots of folks remember how he declared the Vietnam war “Lost”.

Had my poster of this from 1977 (IIRC) right through mid 1984. I hope her name was in the Lamb's Book of Life. RIP.

WOW... That is BIZARRE!

[From looking at other threads, I don't buy that.]
I agree with you. The ugliness and hate on threads has been awful. Why is it OK to say terrible things about people and then when they die everyone suddenly becomes pious? I bite my tongue and try to stay away from those threads.
God judges us on how we live each day - each day.
I think we all liked Farrah and it is for God to judge us all. Now Michael Jackson has just had a major heart attack and they are running him down on a thread.
