Thank you, pretty much what I had guessed. A nice repeat graphic might include that information at the bottom. In fact, in my opinion, it should be posted as often as possible.
He says, “Maybe...”
Health care decision based on a “maybe?” Who gets to decide if I’m “better off” taking the painkiller?
Where’s AARP on this? Are they still licking the DNC boots?
>And they compared Bush to Hitler!<
Projection.
Your wish is my command!
Translation (roughly): (Monetary figure at top) "Hereditary Disease which lasts a lifetime...People of Germany its your money...The new national... (then lists political party information at the bottom)."
ok that logan’s run quip was pretty much the best one possible for this thread
And ironically on the day Farrah Fawcett passed.
oh i forgot she was in that movie. The plastic surgery unit
That's so accurate and so cleverly said. It would make for good Tea Party signage if you're going to the next one.
They are all about projection.
Also NEVER FORGET.
obama=dim rat party=media=obama=dimrat party.........
Apparently there is one in the works—

Logan’s Run (2010)
A young man at odds with his society’s mandatory death sentence for all those turning 21 plots a daring escape on the eve of his fateful birthday.
My 102 year old grandfather had pneumonia in February and RECOVERED and is doing well!
They say its impossible to overturn “Entitlements” the Dem special interest groups would write to everyone on .Govcare and tell them Republicans are trying to kill them.
the possible way would be to replace Obamacare with a private plan with lower copays.
Beautiful. Well done!
It is unconsionable and ammoral not offer pain relief to a human being. Without it your ability to suruvive is reduced.
I can't find that quote in the transcript,
Did he really say this???
When I made my comment about denying painkillers to a dying person because of fear of dependency on an earlier thread, I got a reply that said some painkillers will impede respiration, cause the patient to die sooner than he ought. I will accede that this in indeed contrary to the intent, but I for one have never heard that proffered as the reason for denial, it has always been, "Well, we don't want him hooked."
The thing is, Vendome, as instructed by those in hospice care, one cannot be hooked on painkillers if he has PAIN. It's those who use the drugs after the cause of the pain is removed, either the injury healed or surgery eliminated it, etc., that are abusing the narcs, not dying patients. My mother was a neurosurgical nurse for the last 25 years of her career, she tells me of umpteen patients she treated who were comatose, yet the body felt pain, they knew because of the increase in blood pressure for one symptom, she would administer IM and see changes in the vital signs, indicators that the pain was relieved, the patient more comfortable. Even if you are not conscious, your body feels it, pain does serious damage to you.
It is so unfortunate that it seems the only way to understand and appreciate these things is to go through it yourself -- or be one like you, someone who cares about a friend enough to be truly empathetic. It doesn't matter how many examples we could give, stories we could tell, demonstrate in person, way too many in this nation just will not believe it until they live it ... worse, die from it, THEN they *get it*. Sad.
