Given that both go against the best interest of the narcissists who tend to run for political power I do not believe we will ever see either enacted.

Agreed. But the present trajectory cannot continue without most people being consumed in a prison filled with a heart-destroying-pessimism. Good men will become sick men.
Both sides in this country are mad. The question will be who will win out, those of us who love our country and want smaller government or those who can’t live without a nanny state.
