It's not a “scandal”. It is a very serious red flag for those of us who were looking him to be a contender in 2012. If he can't take the heat in the State House without bugging out then I do not want him near the White House. At this point it would take a helluva “verifiably true” story to explain this episode to my satisfaction.

Get the facts at any cost. You don't have to make your your facts, the main stream media will do it for you. I don't want a leader that is there 24/7. Just because the “news” said his wife didn't know and his staff didn't know where he was, you believe them?

As I wrote I was hoping the guy was for real but it will take a lot of convincing for me to stay on the FR's Sanford ping list.
