Well Peter Horry, now you are starting to piss me off. What are you talking about??? In your statement #4 you indicate that I am telling people what to do??? I never told anyone what to do. I simply stated that “impropriety on their part is going to be played & replayed endlessly for the next 2-3 weeks” by the liberal media and that demoRATs get a pass. Since I see that you joined FR on Aug 31, 2008, perhaps you are a libtard demoRAT troll that planted yourself on FR to simply insult & piss people off with your nonsensical comments. And then you indulge in insults by your last statement to get a grown up to explain it. Get a grownup yourself to help you put into words exactly what you are trying to say!!! Otherwise get off this forum!!! cc admin
We I see the problem, you are more familiar with this language, my mistake.
“She’s one butt ass ugly Bioootch!!! “
“0booooooooomba sonofabitch!!!”
“libtards & socialists like 0booooooombashiite”
“0boooooombashiite gets thrown out on his ass”
Please don’t make an “ass” of yourself, it is unseemly.
“Maria Belen Shapur”
Shapur is a Persian name
What are you trying to create controversy for? I’m directing my venom against the demoRATs & 0boooooomba’s. Why are you sticking up for them, unless you’re sympathetic to their socialist ideology. You make all these unrelated, non-sensical comments, and so far you have never elaborated what my comment was that you took exception. Just get off FR and go back to DU land.
“Just get off FR and go back to DU land”
DU land is where your level of thought and communication belongs. I am not trying to create controversy, perhaps it simply follows you. NFAR
Enough is enough!!! Stop writing!!! Go back to DU land!!!
If you look at "the system" that we've let the politico's create for themselves (and the system WE pay for) it's really no wonder that it tends to draw corrupt figures. By and large it has been my observation that the majority of people who are drawn to politics are people who couldn't make it in the private sector. We see this over and over. I mean, really, what else would folks like Barney Fwank or Obamalamadingdong do were it not for politics? Consider the perks of free health care for life for themselves and their family members, cushy retirement bennies, contacts with prominent members of the business community who would otherwise never give these political creeps the time of day. Most of the business community who deal directly with political figures are perfectly willing to go along with whatever the politico's do so long as they get their take or have some measurable influence. It's a disgusting mess.
Politicians and diapers should both be changed often and for the exact same reason. This is precisely why we voters, the ones who are supposed to be in charge, need to make 2010 the year we flush the incumbents.....whether or not the voters have had enough remains to be seen, but I won't hold my breath.....
You summed it up very well...thanks.
I thought your description was excellent and sent it to a friend of mine...this is what I got back in response...
In the end it is income transfer and monopolistic control (such as the FDA) that drives corruption in government. It was not the intention of the founding fathers for the government to tax us and pay for social security, medicare, medicaid, welfare, corporate farming, stimulus checks, pork, entitlements, bail outs of big companies, bail out of state or city governments, military bases all over the world, foreign wars such as Viet Nam and Iraq which generate huge profits for the military industrial complex, etc. If income transfers were illegal (which they are based on a strict interpretation of the constitution) then we would be voting for representatives in a very limited Federal Government to protect us with a standing army, a judicial and criminal system, certain administrative costs to coordinate the states, regulate pollution that causes death and disease, regulate industry to the degree necessary to prevent crime and scams, etc. If the Federal Government could not engage in income transfers then politicians could not buy votes and most of the problem would be solved. As it is the Federal Government is little more than organized crime and electing new crime leaders more often will not solve the problem.
I would wholeheartedly agree with your friend's sentiments, except for this line. Short of revolution, voting out the folks who created this mess is the single best tool we have at our disposal. The only way we are going to shake up Congress and make them listen, even if only temporarily, is to throw as many of the bums out of office as possible, and especially the long entrenched incumbents who think they are made of Teflon.....
I think my friend’s comments were intended to point out voting a bunch of miscreants out of office isn’t enough. We need to change the rules and have things like term limits and find a way to stop the money flowing to candidates and to pork. Once we eliminate the opportunity for corruption we will stop electing corrupt people. :)
Hmmm, what do I have to do with this flame war?
