I am thinking the misconceptions that repeat over-and-over on these threads about:

1. Jews are lemmings and suididal
2. Jews are at fault for liberalism
3. Jews have bad genes

Etc.

Have a lot to do with why it takes a pretty thick skin to be a Republican Jew.

I call them slanders, but I might be too harsh, they may be misconceptions. But it has nothing to do with the GOP, the conversation wouldn't be tolerated there, it's more a function of the internet where people express opinions I suspect they wouldn't express in the real world.
