I posted this video yesterday and someone here said it was a fake. There is something in the man’s hand that could have been a vial of red stuff.
I don’t know if it has been proven a real video but she is the face of the Showdown. Perhaps the same as the boy in front of the tank many years ago.
Considering the fact they laid her down in a pool of her own blood, I doubt it was fake.
I believe that poster later retracted his or her speculation. There is a second video that shows the same scene from a slightly different angle.
The initial red substance that’s seen as she falls and they go to her assistance might have been fake blood, but the look on her face and the progression of the bleeding is not fake. What I see on that video is quite consistent with the behavior of a person shot through the heart.
You can see her right eye glaze over and fix. And her mouth and nose and her left eye are full of blood and there's no blinking, no effort to clear the blood to breathe.
You have seen a brutally murdered human being's soul pass out of her body right in front of your eyes.
Prayers for the repose of her soul. And justice for her murderers.

A few posters on Twitter have been posting this rumor over and over again. They’ve been denounced by the masses as agents from the Iranian government who are twitting false rumors to demoralize the opposition. The news now is that mosques have been banned by the government from giving her memorial services. So, if the video is a fake, then the government has been duped as well. One comment on the article - Neda’s birth year is being published as 1982 or 1983, which would make her around 27 years of age. Originally, she was listed as 16, but that seems to have changed in the last 24 hours.
Yup. Fake.
You watch, this will be revealed and (most) everyone will look like fools.
I read through this thread, watched the video, read all your comments, and took a good look at a couple of the still shots.
There is WAY too much blood coming from her nose and mouth to have come from only a vial. They are filled with it.
I pinged a couple of medical doctors here. If they don't mind, perhaps they could verify whether this is real or not. It sure seems it to me, and I don't see why you're so hellbent on maintaining that it is all fake.
Neverdem and MomMD, if you don't want to check this out or comment on it, I'll certainly understand. Just because you're doctors, doesn't mean that you can view this and be unaffected. It's very unsettling.
It's genuine. Three cell phone cams, same scene.
I also read on several posts that she was born in 1982, which would make her 27 years old. She was a philosophy student. This really disturbs me.
