That's exactly what they are calling for. That's why Israeli government has come out to support them.

So, now you have Israel's permission to listen to you inner American and side with the cause of freedom. So, how about it?

I cant take your word for it sorry..
If true I wish them well.
BTW are they calling for a nonsectarian state? Do they renounce an Islamic state?

Yes they are calling for the end of the Islamic state. That's why they are in the streets shouting “Death to the Dictator”.

Barg Bar Diktator!

They want freedom and democracy and this is our chance to effect the outcome but Obamadinejad is loath to prove that was Bush right.

Again I wish them well. I think it is best for the US to stay out of it. Iran has shown in the past that they will accept American help and turn around and scatter the bones of American servicemen in their desert so I am more than happy to see the USA take no action.

Why should we stay out of it? Do want the War on Terror to go on forever? How many more want more of our servicemen and innocents do you want killed by this enemy regime?

Our young allies, dying for liberty and fighting our number one enemy in their streets, weren't even born yet when CARTER scattered those bones in the desert.

Take no action when we have an opportunity to win the war? You're kidding me, right?

Didn’t Roosevelt receive advise like this once?

This defense of his lack of concern (because he really could not care less about these people or freedom or democracy)is ridiculous. Is France now “responsible” for having come out in defense of those Iranians dying in the streets? I wondered if he would be so bad that they were going to have a really hard time finding ways to defend him that sounded like they made any sense. The answer is obviously yes.

But is it true that a strong U.S. position in favor of the Iranian democracy movement would create a backlash against America? The reality is that those who are advancing this argument are in fact trying to shield the Iranian regime in the West. The Khomeinist propaganda machine is unleashing all doubts possible about international support to the demonstrators. In fact, the tipping point against the ayatollahs’s militias is precisely a world outcry in defense of the uprising. Presently there are no neutral Iranians who could be irritated by American or Western verbal support to democracy in Iran. The argument is inserted in the debate to confuse the public and mollify outside solidarity. What can shift the ground against the oppressive Pasdaran is precisely this, if a wide majority of Iranians feel the international community is, at least morally, on their side.

I'm not kidding. Carter held those hostages to huh? You go ahead and blame the Islamic State of Iran on US politicians. I dont and I don't trust the Iranians period.
