In Persian, Neda means divine message or voice. Search the bold text and you will see her look into the camera in one last pleading and defiant act.

At 19:05 June 20th, Place: Karekar Ave., at the corner crossing Khosravi St. and Salehi st.
A young woman who was standing aside with her father watching the protests was shot by a basij member hiding on the rooftop of a civilian house. He had clear shot at the girl and could not miss her. However, he aimed straight her heart. I am a doctor, so I rushed to try to save her. But the impact of the gunshot was so fierce that the bullet had blasted inside the victims chest, and she died in less than 2 minutes.
The protests were going on about 1 kilometers away in the main street and some of the protesting crowd were running from tear gass used among them, towards Salehi St.

May God hear my prayers for the soul of Neda, the divine message. May He give her peace and the freedom that she died seeking. May He also bless the ones who bring the light of truth to my eyes, so that those who seek darkness fail.
But we have video of her dying. If down the line, that video leads to the summary execution of Iran's national leadership, à la Ceausescu or Mussolini, and the establishment of a legitimate government, then those other deaths you mention will be avenged as well.
No, it’s being stolen from us.
Prayers that they also learn that true freedom and liberty is in Jesus alone.
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
My prayers go out to her and her family and all Iranian people. May God watch over them.
I do pray these people will know freedom and liberty one day.
Praying for the dead is scriptural. Jesus prayed for the dead and told us to pray for the dead.
I know what you mean. I've got a family full of 'em. Thank God I now live in Texas, half a country away from them.
That is quite literally the most callous statement that I've seen on any of these Iranian uprising threads.
For shame...
i’ll bet it’s still too close ;)
You should have seen some of the emails we traded back and forth during the election.
Some of them are so twisted with liberal hatred for everyone on the right, that they’ll probably never speak to me again.
RIP.
gop4lyf: I remember all the times we have had to hear that we are the Great Satan.
6323cd: So do I. I will never forgive.
Do all Iranians living today bear the guilt of those who spoke these words?
Will future generations be able to forgive you for the actions of Obama?
A lot of you don't seem to understand (or care) that a growing percentage of the population -- possibly a majority of the younger generations -- despises the theocratic regime that has ruled the country for 30 years.
If they ever get a chance to throw off their chains, Iran could eventually become (apart from Israel) the best friends we have in the Middle East.
“I have studied WWII history for 20 years and only read of such things”
You really must see this movie.
Sophie Scholl: The Final Days
Sophie Scholl was arrested and then executed by guillotine by the Third Reich for distributing anti-Nazi leaflets at her college campus. For this she was beheaded along with several of the other brave young God fearing people of the “White Rose”, an underground Nazi resistance movement. This is a dramatization of that event, it is a movie that will not leave you and will have you thinking about it for days after viewing. I highly recommend this film. I found myself drawn into this movie like few other movies will do. This is brilliant stuff. The tension becomes almost unbearable. The depiction of Freisler (The judge), which might seem over the top, but is quite consistent with accounts and actual film clips of the trial, maybe even understated. He was diabolical, tyrannical and very hot tempered.
After reading many rave reviews from regular people, I ordered this 2005 movie over the Holidays from Netflix. It was sooooo good, I just had to purchase a copy

It may be a Mormonism thingie don’tchaknow.
Perhaps in conjunction with belief in ‘pergatory’ ...
Sounds like my mother. Rabid, Bush hater. Her responses remind of the pull-the-string and “i talk” dolls that I had as a kid.
Her responses are right out of the Code Pink, Democrat handbook.
I had to end my conversation with her tonight when she compared our troops to Iranian-Islamic state thugs who are shooting and killing protesters.
The picture of Neda could be the “Kent State” picture of this age.
I could tell you stories about her illogical, hypocritical and vitriolic frothings.
I get upset but then realize what my siblings have told me; she’s a lost cause.
May the Lord grant her to find mercy from the Lord on that day.
P.S. I guess it’s like the difference between Yizkor and Kaddish. /s
The short answer is twofold:
1. Unless they can prove they are not the usual neck cutter Muslim - Yes.
2. Most importantly, on what basis do you assume any significant number of Persians (Muslims) have not “spoke those words”.
Nuke ‘em all, while we still have our nuclear advantage.
Onward to more false assumptions, such as your “Will future generations be able to forgive you for the actions of Obama?”
Are you trying out for the non sequetor prize of the week?
Obama is a Manchurian candidate about whom I have been quite vocal since he first appeared on the scene. He is an Alinsky commie, from Chicago. Look on him as having been through the same background as the HillaBeast, but with a darker color of RED and a “community agitator in the sense of Elijah MoHAMmed, Jesse Jackson, Sharpton and a long line of similar ghetto based race mongers with a perverted history.
However, if Obama attacks some nation and that nation wins, they will hold all of us responsible. History is.
“A lot of you don't seem to understand (or care) that a growing percentage of the population — possibly a majority of the younger generations — despises the theocratic regime that has ruled the country for 30 years.”
That generation was raised in a boiling hate of America. Remember such truisms as “As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.” ? ? ?
That generation wants out from under the worst of the Mullah abuses, but they DO SEE AMERICA AS THE GREAT SATAN ! ! !
My question for you is why do you refuse to accept the sad fact that a whole generation of Persians hates America?
Nuke ‘em before they attack us.
Muslim hatred of, and continuous history of warfare upon the West is more than enough reason for a preemptive nuking of them.
Wake up and recognize the Muslim hatred of all others.
Islam Delenda Est.
