I am definitely not into vanity posts. But I am completely and totally fed up with nobama stomping my country into the ground. So, in frustration, here is an email I sent my Senator Jim DeMint today. I didn't bother to send an email to Lindsay Graham. I know from previous experience it would do no good.

Senator DeMint: It seems to me that many things done by President Obama since his inaguration are unconstitutional.
Such as:
* Firing the CEO of General Motors. That is the job of the board of GM.
* Effectively taking over GM and Chrysler with his "board," none of whom have any automobile industry experience.
* Screwing secured bondholders out of millions of dollars while making sure his buds in the UAW are very well taken care of.
* Arranging special bankruptcy rules for GM and Chrysler.
* Appointing 28 "czars" (and counting) with out any formal approval process. These people make policy with virtually no oversight.
That's just for a start.
My question: when are you guys going to call him out on this?
It's disgusting to watch one bound and determined man do so much harm to our precious country. Why are you letting him get away with it?
Of course, the Republicans have the short end of the stick in both houses of Congress right now. But surely there is something you can do to at least slow him down.
I know y'all are counting on the Nov. 2010 elections to make large inroads into the Democrat stranglehold. But that's a year and a half from now. Plenty of time for Obama to implement onerous health care and "cap & trade" legislation plus who knows what else. And you know as well as I that, once passed, this anti-freedom, anti-capitalism, socialistic legislation will never be repealed, even if the Republicans own the House and Senate.
Obama is, for all intents and purposes, operating in dictator mode. Time to stop him.
I pray you'll be able to do something about this. I truly fear for the future of our country.

No they can’t, not by themselves. BUT they can and should reach the moderate or blue dog dems and bring them at least to the point of reason! They were all sworn to defend and protect the Constitution, were they not? Time to remind them ALL!

You are not alone. I am writing from NV and you know what just happened to Ensign. I was hoping he would announce early for President in 2012 but then the DNC slime machine caught him in an affair. Sheesh! What's a guy to do?

I’ve written to my local reps, but all I get are snotty retorts. In some sense it’s the “we won” response. I’m ready to go ballistic. I really want term limits. There is a local representative who has been in office for 30 years!! It just blows my mind and he continues to support or turn out one pork project after another. I’m at loose ends in this area.
I understand your frustration. I email Sens McConnell and Kyl and Rep Boehner as well as Chairman Michael Steele constantly. Like sometimes nearly a dozen emails to them a day.
I’ve reminded them that they DO have an ace in the hole. The Republicans can go as a group to the White House and DEMAND the long form birth certificate, the college transcripts and his college thesis and tell him they are NOT leaving until he produces them. Then, I’ve suggested they escort the Obama family to a nearby hotel and cordon off The White House allowing NO ONE to enter without two federal officers with them and AFTER the Congressmen pick up all the computers and laptops. No one goes in. Not Rahm or Gibbs, no one.
And then if he’s not natural born, the entire election was invalid, his Cabinet is invalid, the money he’s given away is invalid. And the Constitution does not even have a scenario to follow when the ENTIRE electoral process is invalidated.
0bama is a crook. Richard Nixon was NOT a crook, compared to Barack 0bama.
About the bravest thing the Pubbies have done is suggest that next time we vent the candidates to make sure they are not crooks the next time around. What next time? This con will likely stay in office as President for life. The pubbies (not known for their courage) are selling us out.
All the elected Republicans need to start using the dem talking points from the last 8 years, including phrases like “fundamental fairness.”
And all the Republicans in the senate need to bring up the quote about the role of the senate being a “cooling saucer” to slow things down in the upper chamber after the house passes legislation.
Make the dems eat their own words. And be obvious about it.
And how we going to pay for tax cuts. Where are now?????????????

Do you think SC will retire DeMint next year? He is so conservatives compared to the voters there. I think he will win though fairly easily, but never count out anything when it comes to liberals promising “free” programs.

You misunderstand your fellow countrymen. They want Obama even if he is illegal.
The American people would sooner go officially communist than support term limits for Congress. They want their friendly incumbent channeling pork to their district.
NV has been so overrun by CA that it is no longer reliable.
