” “Today the Iranian nation needs calm.”

TRANSLATION: “We came into power through revolution, you are forbidden”.

I watched and listened to the last hour of the speech by the exalted Iranian poohbah. He mentioned "that Clinton woman's husband burned 80 people from the Davidians in a house in Texas and the americans have no business talking about human rights to us".

He also gabbed on about the foreign spies whipping up the crowds of protestors and that all Iranians are too good to fall for this interference from foreign devils.

The man is another Hitler/Geobbels combo.

The onehundred thousand souls in the auditorium with him were more or less his cheer squad. Every few sentences they would 'spontaneously' erupt with chants and cheers.

It is painfully obvious that the Iranians have no mechanism for expressing themselves to their dear leader.

To sum up his two hour speech: "I am your leader, it doesn't matter who is president, I am the leader here."
