Did these people not hear Ubama’s “I’d Like To Buy The World A Coke” speech he gave in Cairo?

Iranian protesters planned to flood the streets of Tehran in the tens of thousands Thursday after opposition presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi defied a government crackdown and called for another day of demonstrations against what he has denounced as a rigged election. Mousavi's announcement, which he made on his Web site, represented a direct challenge to Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and the Islamic cleric-led government.
This looks more and more like rope-a-dope, with Khamenei having to back Ahmednutjob, and Mousavi and A actually covertly ganging up on him.

What time of day have the protests been happening? Does it start in the morning Iran time or later in the day. They are at GMT+4:30, so it is 6:43am there right now.

Hillary, the State Department ogre, has already said that it doesn’t matter who wins.

Why doesn’t the military mutiny? Some bombs dropped on the Interior Ministry, a few Revolutionary Guard units shot up, and it’s basically over.

Having said all I did in the above post, let’s not fool ourselves that Mousavi is exactly George Washington or Benjamin Franklin: there are some troubling areas of his past history.

What gets me is the mullahs were so tone deaf about the election they didn't even try to make it look real. Counted all those votes in less than 2 hours? No one was going to buy that.

Hell, all they had to do was get Jimmah Carter over there to put his stamp on the thing as legit. Just like he does any time a tyrant needs cover.

It was hundreds of thousands in Tehran and it was all over the country. Stop limiting it to Tehran.
