White House Claim of 46 Million Uninsured 'Americans' Includes Almost 10 Million Foreigners Almost 10 million foreigners? The government can't even get it's own figures straight. They readily admit there are at least 11 million illegal aliens in country. I suspect it's more accurate to state there are upwards of 20 million here.
My estimate has ranged from from 20 to 35 million.
The corrected estimate of illegal immigrants during the 2000 census was set at about 9 million in around 2001. That was based on 2000 figures. If nine million had come over since 1990, the obviously it would seem another nine million had come over since, in the midst of all the talk of amnesty.
Of course that assumes that the 2000 census figure was accurate, which it more than likely wasn't.
We have had in excess of ten million illegals in our nation for close to a decade now, more after the 2001 range, so how many children did they have since then? Are we talking about one million more kids or seven million more kids?
We could easily have in excess of 30 million illegal immigrants in side the U.S., but you won't see the government admit it. If it did, that 47 million uninsured figure would drop to 17 million. Very few people would get worked up over twenty million twenty somethings opting out for a few years.

They want us to spend a Trillion dollars to socialize medicine for the 50 million people, at least 20% of which are not here legally and millions more are not citizens. F em.
Besides 1 Trillion is 200,000 per uninsured. I have great insurance in NY City, where it is quite expensive, and it only costs $6,000 a year!

Wondering what would have happened had he been a White Republican. To be honest, it wouldn't matter. The medical profession by and large believes in what they do as in the Hippocratic Oath. And that is why changing the system and making some heatless a-hole government flunky in charge will certainly diminish the quality of the best health care system in the world.

Was curious as most everything the Left has politicized over the years. I was married to an LVN once upon a time (almost 40 years ago), and she was quite the Leftist to put it politely.
Pleased to see the Hippocratic Oath still means something.

My wife is an RN who cares a lot. If you have the big one, you would want to wake up to the bride or one of her friends. You would be well take care of.
She does have some friends who buy the Obama line of baloney, but she shuts them up when she reminds them about having worked at Cook County Hospital. There the nurses have the ask the unionized BWA clerks if they could fit it in their schedules to do their assigned work. That's what the government does. It empowers the losers to lose more.

I have yet to hear a dim differentiate which ‘Americans’ will be covered.
There are South, Central, North ‘Americans’. And several countries makeup North America, Canada, USA, Mexico, the primary ones.

It’s way more than 10 million. Northern California alone has that many.

What we're trying to explain is, is that all were trying to make sure of is that there is an option out there for people where the public--where the free market fails, said Obama. And weve got to admit that the free market has not worked perfectly when it comes to health care, because you've got a lot of people who are really getting hurt: 46 million uninsured. That is not a failure of the free market, Zero. That's a failure of individuals to do the work necessary to succeed in a competitive situation: in fact, it is a success of the market. Failure would be to enforce an equality of result without an equality of effort.
