MIAMI (AP) -- A teenager was arrested early Sunday and accused of committing a string of gruesome cat mutilation deaths that had horrified residents of his Miami area community, authorities said.
.... Some of the dead cats were missing fur and appeared to have been cut with a sharp, straight instrument, police said.
.... Tyler Weinman, 18, was taken into custody early Sunday at a party, police said. Weinman was charged with 19 counts of animal cruelty, 19 counts of improperly disposing of an animal body and four counts of burglary.

Well said. Just ask them, and they want to impose the death penalty for jaywalking and littering. All the while supporting infringements on a person, their effects, and papers.
Concurred. The socons are stuck in the rut of "there ought to be a law". They would love nothing more than for people to have to register a pregnancy or ovulation. Just like the liberal left. And what about an ectopic or a miscarriage? They would call anything resulting in anything but birth a murder. And cheer on the killers and bombers. Radicals should be shunned, whether leftists or rightists.
I’ve read similar things, ponygirl. If this kid is behind the animal mutilations, we may well have a future Bundy or Speck on our hands.

Some of us are much more outraged by the deaths of millions of human babies, so you’re right, it’s not the same level of outrage, it’s much higher.
But this is a thread about cats’ being tortured and butchered, possibly by the man in custody, and that is what we’re discussing. The people who told you, quite rudely, to post your comment on an appropriate thread have a point, but they could have been a lot more polite with their request.
I didn’t realize you were a psychologist. Do you have data to support your claim? Let me answer it for you: No, you don’t. You pulled the claim out of your azz.

Unless you’re a smart crim, remembering to wear a pair of latex gloves and dispose of the murder weapon a distant place away and employing assassin-like methods, then science forensics and DNA won’t mean much, will it.

Basically, serial killer kill victims of their own choice with no apparent motive.
Like the teen serial cat killer.
But BTK (Dennis Rader) had a long, 31 year lifespan from the Otero murders to his arrest.
Because for most of that time, DNA was unavailable.
He was caught early on and released, because they had no “proof.”
