Yes, we’ve always spent 10-15 grand on high school proms for our princesses.
Verily, verily I say unto you, I grew up in the 60's. There were parents of girls in my junior high school who threw very elaborate, expensive parties for their spoiled daughters. Adjust 1960's dollars to 2009 dollars and you'll discover that the parents spent virtually the same amount.
