LACEY, Wash. -- A girl adopted from China has allegedly been sexually assaulted for years by both her adoptive mother and father, said Lt. Jim Mack of the Lacey Police Department.
A 51-year-old man and his 47-year-old wife face multiple charges of rape as they are accused of sexually assaulting their adoptive daughter for at least the past four years, Mack said.
Police said the alleged crimes may never have stopped if they didnt have a chance encounter with the victim on Tuesday.
Police were called to the girls Lacey school after a little boy exposed himself. While asking the 8-year-old girl about what shed seen, she ended up revealing details about her parents, Mack said.
The 8-year-old female disclosed to the detective there was some secret time with her mother and her father, Mack said.
Prosecutors allege both the mother and the father independently and secretly sexually assaulted the girl inside their Lacey home.
"Adopted from China, brought here and appears to become the personal sex toy of these two defendants," said senior deputy prosecutor Joe Wheeler.
The girls adoptive father is an Intercity Transit bus driver and is being held in the Thurston County Jail on $150,000.
The girls adoptive mother is also behind bars and being held on $100,000 bail.
The young victim is in the custody of the state Child Protective Services.
See my tagline.
No kidding. I need about a four hour shower. Yuck
EEEEEEEEwwwwwwww!!!!! Just when I think humanity can’t get any lower, it does.
B@stards
prompt hangings right after the fair trials.
What do we expect? When we live in world when people think they should be able to do whatever they wish sexually regardless of consequences.
Satan on earth.
I have two children adopted from China.
This is so sad for the child and makes me so mad that people would do this.
A consequence of 4 decades of unchecked liberalism.
I’ve been a counselor for 20 years and this type of abuse is quite common. Many people are just plain evil...
There is no bottom, just a gradual decline until "humanity" gets back in control. "Humanity" as opposed to "government."
The worst was that “daddy ate my eyes” one. I’ll never forget that one.
To behold my adopted Chinese daughter, age 10, asleep, to think that her world has completely turned, bringing her here with us, utterly dependent on us, looking to us through every smile, every tear, every joyful outburst: my humility and joy at this fact transcends thought. And that Satan becomes enthroned, through one’s volition, into the human heart, transcends rational horror. All is grace, which we must ever strive to receive, from the One Who is all truth, goodness, and beauty.
And to think this would be considered Comedy if said on the Letterman show, the audiance would hoot and holler with laughter. SICK is the word.
My heart just aches for this poor child. What? When? Where? How? -— does evil get such a hold in the souls of human beings? It beggars the imagination and shames the mind.
Protect the little ones. That’s all I have to say. Whenever you get a chance, whenever your own hand could be raised to save them: protect the little ones.
Statistically, children are more likely to be sexually abused by family members who are not blood relatives, such as an adoptive father or stepfather (or a live-in boyfriend after Mom and the DNA father split up). But most sexual abuse occurs in the home, not from “stranger danger.” Keep an eye on the slightly odd brother-in-law or the overly friendly uncle.
Good grief. How quickly we forget the Wenatchee, WA “child sexual abuse cases”. This may not, and probably is not, true. An 8 year old claiming that BOTH her parents secretly and independantly from one another sexually abused her? ...and the circumstances appear to be that the police were called because she was claiming another little boy exposed himself to her? Wow, this kid has amazingly bad luck. no.
That is a little odd. It’s always important to hold out for the possibility that none of it, or not all of it, is true.
It reads as if they’re saying that each parent was abusing the girl, without knowing what the other was doing? Seems awfully unlikely. Perhaps it’s just not a carefully written sentence.
