These morons probably thought Obama's promise of green jobs was more than hot air. It wasn't. LOL

Fewer large-cap investors able to utilize the PTCs = fewer wind farms being built = fewer wind turbines ordered

These morons probably thought Obama's promise of green jobs was more than hot air. It wasn't. LOL Oh yeah? Well... Obama said he'd make new green jobs, and the folks who still work there, and will have to do the work of those fired, will have "new" jobs now.
So there.

Wait, what? Obama promised us six bazillion high-paying "green jobs", and a
wind turbine company is laying off?
How can this be?

You are looking at this all wrong. Lets say 400 people work at the factory and only 160 lost their jobs. He actually saved 240 jobs. See how great he is?

Hard times hit and people start looking through the books to see what REALLY turns a profit.
I guess wind power, being more expensive than nuke, coal or gas, isn’t as profitable as the greenies would have us believe.

I use to go to college around that wind farm. It is huge. Between that wind farm and all the ethanol plants around in Southwestern Minnesota, it illustrates the political corruption and government intrusion in the current economy, especially in the agriculture and green energy sectors.
To: pissant
A wind power company in southwestern Minnesota has announced it will eliminate 70 jobs this summer with another 90 layoffs possible by the end of September. More of those "saved" green jobs of Obomba's?

Obomba's record of the economy is going to be perfect! (in wonderland...)

Not just any wind turbine company, but a wind turbine company in windy Minnesota. Meanwhile, our U.S. Representat5ive here is being hammered with political advertising from some outfit called the Green Energy Alliance because he won't vote to throw more dollars at this kind of nonsense in southwest Pennsylvania.
As Jim Quinn, our morning drive guy likes to say, liberals don't view their failures as being wrong, but simply the result of not being allowed to do enough of it.

That line of thinking and propaganda is not selling out in the hustings or even inside the beltway. I heard Juan Williams on Fox, comment on how Axelrod is making Obama sound downright Hooverish with that ridiculous line. This idiot has another 6 months sans a big corruption scandal for his sky high approval ratings drop to the low 40’s.

Isn’t there some Democratic committee chairman from that area who can make those meanies stop this?
To: pissant
How can that possibly be? Obama promised!

India-based Suzlon manufactures wind turbines and has a presence in 21 countries.Ah ha! The answer was in the story further on down. No one will be able to climb the tower to see Made Elsewhere stamped on the blades but it will be there.

This could blow the hell out of wind turbine electic supply. Pun intended.

You’re leaving a lot of “Saved” jobs on the table.
400 jobs - 70 laid off now = 330 saved jobs
330 jobs - 90 laid off in September = 240 saved jobs
330 saved jobs + 240 “Saved” jobs = 570 “Saved” jobs
This is obama/Democrat voting district math system.

Oh great, when “Present” “Moneybags” Obama finds out about this he will throw money at it.
After he fulfills his promise of bankrupting the coal business, the cost of electricity will skyrocket and his little beanie propellers will be a cheap(?..relatively) source of electricity.
Of course now that Obama approves of Nuclear power plants...oops that's just in Iran, so the they (his muslim brothers) can get on the fast track with their nuclear bomb production!
