Great article.

As a follow-up, I’d like to recommend going on ROADandTRACK, and do a search for their story called, “Inside Penske Racing.” It appeared in their June magazine, and that may be another way to get to it.

For those of you who do not know about Roger Penske: in his prime, he was one of America’s greatest car racers in NASCAR, Indianapolis or IndyCars, and Grand Am.

Today, he owns a massive 375,000 sq ft warehouse in which all three of his racing teams and cars are designed and developed, and then worked on, sometimes for days at night, until everything is put up to spec.

His all-in-one shop idea has paid off in spades as Penske Racing Teams have recorded 14 wins at the Indy 500. To understand just how astonishing these victiories happen to

Penske Racing Enterprize has been so successful that his Indy cars have won 14 races at the Indianapolis 500 Speedway. This is an insurmountable record as the closest car company to Penski only had three wins.

One thing. I don’t believe Penske ever drove in NASCAR (at least not that I can recall in my 20 years of watching) but he has been involved as an owner for a long time. In fact he is really the man who made Michigan International Speedway a success.

You are such a font of wisdom......and I do not say that facetiously.

What a leap..............from “birther” analysis to NASCAR.

I thank you for all your insightful and knowledgeable posts.

I think you define “Renaissance Man”.
