Abortion's time of reckoning - ALAN KEYES
WorldNetDaily ^ | June 5, 2009 | Alan Keyes

Posted on 06/05/2009 9:47:54 AM PDT by EternalVigilance

Of George Tiller's soul, God is now the judge; though I have no doubt that from a human perspective his enthusiastic practice of child murder for profit will forever deserve our unequivocal condemnation. This of course implies no approval of the apparently deranged act that took his life. The aim of all authentic pro-life people is to restore respect for innocent human life. We rightly condemn and lament an action that harms the good we seek to achieve.

Spot on, Alan.

THE GRUESOME TRUTH ABOUT THE ABORTION HOLOCAUST & THE DEATH OF DR. TILLER[Warning:Graphic]

“It is the grimmest of ironies that one of the most savage, barbaric acts of evil in history began in one of the most modernized societies of its time, where so many markers of human progress became tools of human depravity: science that can heal, used to kill; education that can enlighten, used to rationalize away basic moral impulses; the bureaucracy that sustains modern life, used as the machinery of mass death, a ruthless, chillingly efficient system where many were responsible for the killing, but few got actual blood on their hands.”–Barack Obama April 24, 2009, Holocaust Remebernce Day, Chicago Sun Times.

Wow! That is among the most eloquent denunciations of abortion and advocacy for the right to life that I have ever read. The guy makes a lousy candidate but his intellect and eloquence make him a powerful proponent of the good. Go Allen!

Maybe the problem isn’t with Alan in that regard. Perhaps it is with the people themselves, who prefer cotton candy to something more nutritious.

And then they can’t understand why their teeth are rotting, and why they don’t have the energy to even get off their couches to combat those who are undermining the foundations of liberty.

That quote is amazing.

As they say, “None are so blind as those who will not see.”

I know lots of people think Alan Keyes is wacky-- maybe he is, but where our interests overlap we should support him. On abortion he is regularly portrayed as an extremist when he is no more extreme on the issue than Rachel Maddow, whom the MSM embraces.

It's of a piece with the other stuff he says, though, like complaining about unsustainable deficits while making the deficit even larger.

He has an amazing "gift" to say things that are right, and utterly condemn the wrong things he does -- and not see the glaring contradiction and hypocrisy. People only listen to what he says, and nod and say, "He's such a good man". They pay no attention to what he actually does.

he is regularly portrayed

We're never going to be able to save the country while conservatives are still drinking from the MSM cesspool.

The man is depraved. He is acting out that depravity today in Buchenwald and Dresden. His own great uncle sees it and called it what it is...a trip for pure politics.

Strong, sick, delusion.

Dr. Keyes is probably the most eloquent person I have ever read in defending life. He says in so few words what millions are thinking.

In November 2008, I voted for a black man for POTUS, and his name is NOT Obama :-D

I watched that video and I encourage everyone to watch it. It’s unbelievable. Maddow laments how 24 states have a waiting period by saying women have to go to the clinic twice, they have to take off work twice to get an abortion.

Oh Rachael, what an inconvenience they have to go through to whack their baby!!! Perhaps murdering an innocent life should be a time for sober reflection and thought dontcha think? After all, how many years does it usually take to whack a guilty life on death row? More than two days.

The abortion doctor was just as nuts. She wants all 45 million women who have had legal abortions to come out and let everyone know what a normal procedure it is. Yeah, real normal to kill your baby. Perhaps many of those 45 million don’t come out because they regret what they have done and have suffered terrible mental anguish because of it.

" Our economy trembles on the brink of disaster; our political institutions tremble at the brink of factional dictatorship; our unity and sovereignty as a people tremble at the brink of dissolution and surrender.

Are these the birth pangs of expectant "hope" and "change," or the justice of God, awakening? "

Alan Keyes gets it- he would make an attractive candidate if not for his prior apparent campaign finance shenanigans.

You really shouldn’t get your information from Alan’s Alinskyite enemies and their enablers in the GOP.

I’d like to change one interview question.

Do you think that obstetricians will be afraid to practice in North Carloina because John Edwards will lie to a jury to destroy doctors for his own personal gain?

I wonder if Rachel ever thought about that.

Keyes is an extremist for life, Maddow is an extremist for death, no comparison.
