I do not support this, but I do understand this.

Kansas politics has been corrupted to the core by George Tiller, making him like a mobster above the law.

He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.

The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away.

Today, it was George Tiller’s turn for “taketh away”.

God is good, and I say “good for God”.

The church this guy attended tells a story.

The church where he was shot, the Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita,, is ELCA, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

This is the totally liberal synod among Lutheran synods.

It promotes the homosexual agenda in every aspect. It supports most forms of abortion. It is the antithesis of the conserverative LCMS, the Missouri Synod of which I'm thankfully a born and baptized member.

I have no doubt he was attending church for show. He picked this liberal church to attend because he knew it wouldn't throw him on his rear because of his evil practice.

The tragedy is that a man with the capability to help society with his talents instead chose to use those talents and abilities to harm those who could not defend themselves. Therein lies the tragedy. It is not in his death but in the choices he made in life.

His life’s work could have been making the sick well and making life better for others.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned, but I hope everyone will pray for the women that were scheduled to see Tiller next week.
Maybe their hearts can be softened in time.

This will likely be used for pro-abortion propaganda, but that does not make it a bad thing.

OK, I'm a little late to this discussion, and there are almost 600 replies already, but I have read enough to get some of the gist of what some of you are thinking. You're thinking like the present "moderate" crop of Republicans - "how will this affect our image!?!"

How many of you cheer every time a report comes up that Osama bin Laden has been blown up in some cave in Afghanistan? How many of you say that we need to "knock off" (fill in the blank) before they get a chance to nuke us?

Abortionists kill, and have killed, many times more people than ObL and his minions have ever dreamed of. Does an "investigative action into manmade disasters" make it that much more "moral" to kill someone?

Maybe it's time for another "shot heard around the world".

Update from another thread:

"Capt. Brent Allred said police were looking for a gunman who fled in a 1993 light blue Ford Taurus registered in Merriam."

Though this guy was probably the worst human being on earth, the only one that should be allowed to take his life is the Lord.

Violence like this doesn’t accomplish anything of value. A crime is still a crime, and I hope the perp gets what’s coming to him.

Just think of it as a very late term abortion.

Tiller's been around for years. The big question is...why NOW? Why, when the polls were turning toward pro-life?

Abortion clinic bombings are ancient history. Most young people know nothing of them. Pro-life marches are exceedingly peaceful, at least from our side.

May God have mercy on Tiller's soul. And may his killer be found and prosecuted.

Murder is always wrong.

I do feel bad that anyone is murdered.

At the same time, I know that a murderer was murdered today.

Nonetheless, “vengeance is mine; I will repay.” is the Word of God. Someone should not have taken that vengeance into their own hands. They have themselves entered the ranks of “murderer”, and they will answer to God for it.

and it begins. I doubt this will be the last. I have to wonder if a politician will be next? People are afraid, they are losing their country and everything else. When that happens, people tend to feel they have nothing to lose. Dangerous times, my FRiends. Sad times.

Had the Kansas, and the country, done the right thing and outlawed the murder of almost born babies, this would not have happened. I do not condone the murder of this man, but can’t help thinking of the babies who were scheduled to be killed in the next few weeks.
