Kansas Abortionist George Tiller was shot today as he was going to Church.

It might very well be. I hope not.
The Church obviously is made up of sinners - we all fall short of the Glory of God. That being said, a Church that permits someone to attend that has ongoing sin issues should first confront that person and if it continues bring it before the Church. This is clearly taught in Matthew 18. If that person persists in that sin he is to be disfellowshipped. This church obviously does not follow Scriptural prescription in this instance.
Perhaps a better metaphor would be bringing an extinguisher to a fire.
Guess you haven't hear about the run on guns and the sudden lack of ammo, you think everyone's getting them due to a new found hobby? Violence is already here, it just hasn't broken out yet.
Exceptions and compromise gets us no moral ground to even oppose...hence reverse progress.
Bottom line: The world is a better place today without George Tiller.
Don’t you ever believe that prolifers will roll over and play dead becuse of any media blitz agains tus as the result of today’s elimination of a very very bad man!
We will never be marginalized...not as long as we have the strength of the Catholic Church behind us, and the many Christian and Orthodox denominations, and the Hasidic and Conservative Jews, and the many unchurched of good heart who all oppose the wanton taking of innocent human life.
Most abortionists themselves will not approach the partial-birth method with a ten-foot pole and did not approve of Tiller. Tiller was not a hero among his fellow Death Doctors.
You sound like you are very new to the prolife movement (if you are prolife at all, and not a media troll).
I really don’t care if a person performs abortions. I’m not on the side that says abortion is murder of the innocent unborn. Therefore, I certainly would not advocate going out and wacking people who perform abortions.
“Kansas Abortionist George Tiller was shot today as he was going to Church.”
Tiller the Killer seeking forgiveness?
The point is to pray for a sinners repentance, not rejoice when he dies in his sins and is taken to hell. If I was this mans pastor, I would fear judgment day much more than he should. For the pastor's job is to Sheppard his flock. Tiller obviously was not very open to that.
Until there is clear evidence I am not going to accuse Obama of a ‘Reichstag fire’ scenario, but as I have already stated elsewhere I firmly believe that Obama will exploit this scenario for all it is worth in these 5 areas:
1)blaming the pro-life community for Tiller’s death
2)and along with #1 effect an attack on Sarah Palin for political gain
3)as a reason to promote gun control
4)as a way to marginalize conservatives as right-wing extremists
5)as a way to attack Fox News and right-wing talk radio for Tiller’s death
NOBODY has said that this is the best or only way to advance the prolife cause.
MANY have said that this will hurt the cause.
Some, me included, have said that we understand why this has happened.
That does not mean that I support violence, or advocate violence, it means that our system is not working, currently, and that some people have given up hope.
How about some support for the 1st Amendment?
How about some courage?
How about the idea that this is a complicated situation?
How about the hypocrisy on the left?
What is wrong with demands that the LEFT apologize for William Ayers, if we are to apologize for this shooter?
I am not responsible for this vigilante, therefore:
I REFUSE TO APOLOGIZE FOR THIS SHOOTER!
I suggest you take the same approach.
If we all did, the left would learn that the “guilt by association” tactic does not work, and this tactic and this story would end.
For someone who doesn’t care about the right to life, you sure have spent a lot of time on this thread. DU too boring?
Exactly.
So, what else is new?
The prolife movement has been through hell and high water, and has survived, because it is a JUST CAUSE.
Do you agree the murderer should be hunted down, brought to trial and dealt with by the courts the same as any other killer?
Let him stay. He is being educated, and possibly...converted?
Amen!
One was tried on earth and set free...The other murderer will probably also be tried by a jury.
Another innocent was found guilty and was crucified.
