I’ve argued till I was blue in the face about how they violate all that we hold dear regarding private property. A lot of people don’t care because they delude themselves into believing it protects the value of their house.
I’d tell that HOA that if any of them felt like they were man enough they could come to my house and try and remove those bumber stickers.

Also, how many HOA’s have the right to tow vehicles? If the vehicle is parked on the Vets property, I think the vet would be within his rights to protect his property!

During the years I was a Realtor, I recommended my clients avoid developments that have HOAs. If they insisted on living there, I insisted they carefully read the HOA by-laws. In VA, they’re required to be in the hands of the buyer within 72 hours of contract ratification.

When I received a threatening letter for moving a bush without their blessing, I started parting out junk cars in front of my house.
Always gone within 48 hours of course...hehehe.

Banning advertisements on cars means you can’t drive around with a pizza parlor sign on top of your car. If a bumper sticker is an advertisement, I guess they’d better tow all the cars with Obama bumper stickers on them right now.... at the HOA’s expense. Where’s the ACLU??? Aren’t this poor guys civil liberties being trampled? I try to consider myself a moderate but I am SICK TO DEATH of the excesses of mindless liberals.

First they came for the Pro-Life Catholics and I did not speak out because I was not a Pro-Life or Catholic. Then they came for the Evangelical Home-Schoolers and I did not speak out because I was not an Evangelicalnor nor did I home school. Then they came for the Veterans and the Gun Owners and I did not speak out because I was not a Veteran and I did not own a gun. They kept coming and soon took away many of my neighbors and I stood by and said nothing, I only worried each time that they had come for me, but they did not. Finally there came a time when they stopped coming and I and the few neighbors who were also spared gathered to discuss how relieved we were that the troubles now seemed to be over and how lucky we were not to have been taken away. And we rejoiced that we had been spared until one neighbor pointed out: “They have no need to come for those who are obedient slaves.”
I have heard of HOAs that do not allow cars parked in driveways...they have to be in garages. does he have one? can he keep his truck in there? and why should ANYONE have any signs, you can’t just pick on one guy.
Supporters of so-called homeowners’ associations are anti-American. They are enemies against our Constitution. Approximately 205,000 properties of about 50 million Americans are controlled by HOA gangs. Most of the illegitimate contracts are created by the enemy with new developments—not by owners of properties in agreement with each another.
For most of you, there are only three main choices: unwillingly submitting to the anti-American contracts in order to own property, renting from the typically liberal, anti-American landladies, or doing something to nullify the wrongful deeds of HOAs.
As for the lazy, anti-American gangs against property rights, there are other ways for them to pay others to work for them. They will not continue to use anti-constitutional, criminal methods to control or steal the properties of your neighbors.
