He has always been a terrible speaker. I don’t think it’s going to go well for him.
I’m sure he will gush about what a wonderful job Obama is doing.
Meanwhile, Obama will be having his justice department draw up
indictments to give the World Court so they can try him for torture
and rendition.
Don’t be so sure. He’s not stressed.
“He has always been a terrible speaker. I dont think its going to go well for him.”
Well at least W doesn’t get the shivering D.T.’s without a teleprompter. Right now we don’t have a POTUS, just a TOTUS.
“He has always been a terrible speaker...”
Correction: “He has always been a terrible PUBLIC speaker...”
Anyone who has ever met with GW in private knows he’s just the opposite in a meeting. He is very eloquent, very direct, no stumbling and his language is pretty salty. Everyone knows he’s in charge. And he has a memory like a steel trap.
Too bad the public never got to see that!
I guess the Ghetto boy with the teleprompter is a much better speaker.
Perhaps you were simply a terrible listener.
He will do fine...
Before he was first elected, I heard President Bush speak. The no jacket, sleeves rolled up George Bush I heard that evening was positive, funny, relaxed, as he was during his campaigning, then and 2004.
No, President George W. Bush is not a speaker, and I did my share of cringing, when the media chose to cover him. But, I would take President Bush’s sincerity, his honesty, his caring, his being just George, any day over a manboy who can not speak at all with out his teleprompter.
Also, I am very proud of the most unpopular, most disliked, the man the media said was really running the WH, Vice President Dick Cheney.
Go get them, Bush and Cheney, don’t let them get away with anything!
One of the best speeches I ever heard President Bush make was the one he made the evening he returned to Texas after leaving W.D.C. on Jan. 22nd. T'was truly one of THE BEST speeches...so full of truth, passion, redemption...you name it...it sent chills through me.
Actually Bush is a very engaging speaker in the forum he is addressing. I think you will be surprised.
