So, let's see. There was that whole World War Two thingie. There was Germany, Japan and Italy on one side. So, who was on the other? I think it was The United States, Russia, and some other unimportant countries... right? One might be excused to assume this is the thought process of the Obama administration as it planned the upcoming D-Day events for the president's European tour that is in the offing because as currently announced, Team Obama left the Queen out of its D-Day memorial plans. And boy is the she torked, not that anyone can blame her.
This is the Fourth slight made against England by the Obama administration and it is beginning to look less and less like an accident and more like a purposeful policy of snubbing the Brits. I mean, imagine. Planning a D-Day commemoration that excludes the Queen! And she is the only world leader that actually served during the war, on top of it.

It is going to be very hard watching the community organizer in chief and TOTUS speechifying on the Normandy beaches on D-Day
Of course he will then go to Dresden to apologize again for US arrogance
Isn’t the Queen the only vet in the group? She actually worked for her country in WW2.
Once might have been chalked up to inexperience. Twice might have been due to carelessness. But crapping all over Britain and it's leaders time and time again? It's got to be deliberate, and I'm at a loss as to why.
They’re white
Actually France is responsible for the invitations to the WWII D-Day 65th anniversary memorial event planned for June 6th in Normandy. Sarkozy is the one who should be held responsible for the astonishing oversite, particularly in light of the fact the Queen actually served in WWII.
0’s father was a British citizen by virtue of Kenya’s colonial status. His father hated the British.
This is nothing more than the unenlightened and reactionary attitude of an immature son. 0 is a vengeful child in the body of a druggy queer with real power.
Obama's foul treatment of our allies and solicitousness toward our enemies mirrors his deepest feelings for the United States.
If you can offer a reasonable alternative conclusion after having observed the man over the past four months, I would very much like to hear it.
And they speak English.
I wish you would stop clouding the issue with truth, common sense and logic!......SHEESH!
The story yesterday is that the French did the invitations.
The US would assume the French to handle protocol for a visit to Normandy, France.
I don’t think at this point “O” can be held for this one.
That's a joke, right?
"Hate" may be too strong a term. I think it's more a matter that Obama is a narcissist.
In that context, this smacks of his taking the adoration of our allies for granted, and thinking that his mere presence will awe our enemies into submission.
BTW, I think that's a far more damaging situation than mere "hate" and "love."
“Why does this guy hate our allies and love our enemies?”
Perhaps it’s because our allies are his enemies, and vice versa.
Probably for the same reason he hates the US.
The muslims were on the Nazi side.
that about sums it up.
Yep. It’s from an NYT article, but it happens to be true this time:
The queen, who is 83, is the only living head of state who served in uniform during World War II. As Elizabeth Windsor, service number 230873, she volunteered as a subaltern in the Womens Auxiliary Territorial Service, training as a driver and a mechanic. Eventually, she drove military trucks in support roles in England.
If Obama and his ilk are the end-game of this whole “War of Independence” thing from 1776, I will consider bringing back the Queen!
