Sheikh Raad Salah, leader of the Northern Wing of the Islamic Movement in Israel, believes Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will try to rebuild the Jewish Temple.
Speaking at a conference organized by website Islam Online in Doha, Qatar, Salah stated his belief that Netanyahu may try to build the Jewish Temple which the Islamic preacher called the false temple....The solution to the threat against Jerusalem, according to Salah, is a complete mobilization of the Arab world, including the religious imams, who need to act and recruit the masses. He asked Muslim scholars to pronounce edicts that will force the Muslim nation and its leaders to confront their duty towards the problem of Jerusalem and Al Aqsa.

I believe the Bible. Like many other orthodox Christians who believe the Bible, I outgrew the apocalyptic hysteria as I grew in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. At the age of 20, I was unable to think more than a week or two ahead -- apocalyptic hysteria has a way of cauterizing your common sense, if you take it seriously. Today, as I approach my 58th birthday, I'm wrestling with a doctoral dissertation -- and it's a slithey tove, indeed -- or maybe a fruminous bandersnatch. I believe God has called me to complete said project at this, the beginning of the 2nd half of my adult life, so that I can have more influence for His glory over the next 30 years.
The only references to antichrist in the Bible are found in John's letters. Antichrist is the myth, and those who preach it, that one can know the God of the Bible while ignoring Jesus Christ. In other words -- rabbinic Judaism.
God took down soviet Communism, much to the surprise of the "prophecy" teachers. Rather than adoring Him with thanksgiving for His great mercies, these lunatics immediately began frantically scurrying around, desperately seeking other "AC" candidates to grovel/cower before.
Save for later reading.
Ok you are 57 and I’m 62 - and also an equally commited and saved by grace Christian for the last 55 years....
To each his own when it comes to determining when or how Bible prophecy (25% of God’s Word) figures into their spiritual life
...but by the same token I find it a bit sad whenever someone attempts to play the I’m “holier” or “more full of grace than thou” card -
JMHO....
Then no need to take any of it seriously. I do not live in fear, by the way.
Hbr 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
You can not outgrow the bible, you can intellectualize yourself into a misery to be around. Your attacks on Christians that do not agree with you, shows your Christian growth to be less than complete.

I’m still looking for the other, but this one speaks of what is happening now. The Rule of Law.
The Beast is not the same entity as "the" antichrist. The Beast from the Sea = Rome and Nero. The beast from The Land (which land? THE Land! Israel) had two horns like a ram (superficial nodding acquaintance with Biblical faith) but spake like a dragon (We will have no King but Caesar!) IOW -- the corrupted rabbinic Judaism that repudiated God's Messiah and sucked up to pagan Rome instead. Israel gave Rome a "credibility transfusion" that reinvigorated the Roman Empire for a few years, even as American Christians today prop up the most effective enemy of their faith, the public education system.
How about where Jesus said that HIS Body was the new and glorious temple? The Body whose members we are, now that He is in glory?
Do these people really think God will tolerate the re-institution of animal sacrifices, as though the sacrifice of His Son was somehow not good enough, or not final enough? What kinds of blasphemies are folks willing to dally with, in order to maintain their bizarre imaginary road-maps to the future?
Well, at this point in human history, the Gospel has a handful of global rivals. The two that come to mind are secular humanism, and Islam. It is within our power to "charge the gates of hell with a water pistol," to tackle both of those foes, through faith and obedience. For example, when we make sure our kids get a Christian education (at home or in a parent-controlled school), we starve the one beast of the fodder it most desperately yearns for -- the hearts, minds, and souls of our children. We can also get to know the Muslim students in our midst, "adopt" them into our hearts and lives, pray for them, and tell them about Jesus.
Getting back to your point, though -- if the "Sampson Option" happened, a billion of our fellow men would find themselves spiritually and emotionally devastated. Will we then have the credibility to offer Christ to them? Now is a good time to start learning Turkish, Farsi or Arabic, since those are long lead-time projects. I really believe, as the poem says,
That’s certainly an interesting second-person story. Bless your family!
