Sheikh Raad Salah, leader of the Northern Wing of the Islamic Movement in Israel, believes Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will try to rebuild the Jewish Temple.
Speaking at a conference organized by website Islam Online in Doha, Qatar, Salah stated his belief that Netanyahu may try to build the Jewish Temple – which the Islamic preacher called “the false temple”....The solution to “the threat against Jerusalem,” according to Salah, is a complete mobilization of the Arab world, including the religious imams, who need to act and “recruit the masses.” He asked Muslim scholars to pronounce edicts that will force “the Muslim nation and its leaders to confront their duty towards the problem of Jerusalem and Al Aqsa.”

An amazing moment of opportunity, of receptivity to the Gospel, was squandered at that time. Fervent young Christians by the millions were psychologically eunuched, neutered, rendered harmless by a near-lethal dose of apocalyptic hysteria. By the time we'd finished making fools of ourselves, and bringing reproach to the name of our Lord, the window of opportunity had closed.
Bad theology is a very harsh taskmaster. In some ways, I'm still trying to repair the damage done to my career by the kind of rotten eschatology that transforms those who love Jesus into unpaid cheerleaders for the other team.
OTOH, good theology is a liberating force. Winners and lovers will continue shaping the futre, even as whiners and losers try to predict it. At last count one exemplar of that genre, an abortionist of the Jesus Movement and pedlar of "prophetic" profit, was on marriage number four. Apparently, he recycled books and marriages as each was overtaken by time. I'm praying regularly for his conversion, now.
I don't think he is the Antichrist either, but he is most certainly a false prophet, sent by satan....which would explain his "quick rise to power".
I have a huge request to ask your consideration of.
It appears that my monitoring of other stuff on my plate vis a vis END TIMES prophecy etc. leaves me less time and energy than I’d prefer to monitor that site as well as Bill Somers’

I would suggest that any scholar of the Bible, would never have thought the end time was near, because Israel had ceased to be a country, however Prophecy predicted that it would be again. The 1948 partition of Palestine, started a new clock, which advanced in 1967 when Israel reclaimed their Capital City Jerusalem.

Psalm 83 appears to describe an ongoing conflict between Israel and the Arabs that will climax in a final war in which Israel will win a decisive victory over the Arabs. Psalm 83 is a prayer in which Israel asked the Lord for deliverance from a group of nations that verses 3-5 show are united in a confederacy or league for one purpose — the destruction of the nation of Israel.
