If this foreign object was obstructing motion of his jaw it was probably near or in the TMJ (jaw joint complex). A simple panorex would have disclosed this and been easy to retrieve by any oral surgeon or ENT doc. Pity the poor old fellow had to live with this for so long. This would have been diagnosed in the pre-hussein days long ago.Of course after we have all been liberated by comrade hussein the most merciful our health care will look somewhat similar.
