Who hasn't had the experience of, say buying some guns a few months ago, and finding out you couldn't get any ammo for at least some of them. And then
privately selling them to get something else in a more popular caliber?
Or, selling some of your guns, to afford ammo for the ones you have left?
Let's see a show of hands who HASNT had this happen to them?, or a friend or someone you know, or someone you heard about......
IMHO, there's A LOT of that going around these days, all that data from the 4473's might not be that accurate, ya know....

My fear is that Obama will sign a UN treaty which will effectively ban gun ownership here altogether, totally bypassing the Congress. It wouldn't be valid. Treaties are only valid if they are made under the authority of the United States (i.e., under powers legally delegated). This is made very clear in the Federal papers (33, IIRC), and there are more than enough quotes by the founders to prove original intent.

From what I’ve heard,
some guy has been going around buying up guns from everyone.
I think his name was Bill, or Fred, he had a beard, and wore a real-tree camo hat.

Yes I need to read UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES again. I remember how Henry took on the issues one by one. Never thought it could get like that but we seem to be on the path.

Not too long ago, I just read The Turner Diaries.
Now, their is a lot of nasty anti-semitic and racist stuff in there on the part of the protagonist (Turner),
but the descriptions of the government’s actions, and the liberal excusers of those actions, are entirely prescient. It was written in the 70’s.

He can’t by-pass the senate. You have more faith in the senate than I do, there’s only a hand full of conservatives in the senate.

http://www.ammoman.com/http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/ these are good reliable companies
i dont know if they have what you want or not
, i would advise buying a cz52 on gunbroker.com from a seller with a good feedback and then get ammo for 139 dollars delivered for 1260 rounds , gun and ammo for under 400 dollars , even if you buy the cz52 just to practice and save your main ammo thats hard to get . good luck , im betting were gonna need it

I notice that my local gun emporium has MANY stripped RRA lowers, and quite a few built lowers, at pre-0bama prices. Ammo is still outrageously expensive, but very available, at least at that store.

No kidding. Small arms rounds are nearly impossible to find and that's driving up the prices. I just paid $50 for a box of .45s!Heh. And I was complaining about $37.50 for a box of .44 mag...

The idea is to see em coming, avoid them, and go after who sent them. Let's not forget the presstitutes who aid and abet all of the above by allowing them to operate in the shadows. The "Fourth Branch of government" needs a good squirt of Roundup.

That's good, maybe the parts suppliers are beginning to catch up. I've seen new CavArms polymer AR lowers in stock on a few of their dealers' websites, too. Those aren't everyone's cup of tea, but they do have the advantage of high-speed production.
I've found it is still tough to get the smaller bits and pieces needed to complete an AR, though. That is what has driven sales of the less-common .223 rifles, like the Kel-Tec, the Armalite AR-180b and the Bushmaster Carbon-15 series.

You have more faith in the senate than I doI don't have any faith in the Senate. I have faith in the Senators wanting to get reelected.
With them knowing that they won't get reelected if they vote for a treaty such as this, I have full faith in the Senate.

They're talking about you... lol. It was just a matter of time;-)
