Meantime, you are one of the people of California, and, as we all know, the people have the kind of government they deserve. You Californians owe all Americans a big apology for allowing this to happen.

And then you made the above statement, implying only Californians deserve what they get, demanding and apology no less, as you completely ignored what the *American* people have for Congress, Senate and who they have as a President.

You're comments are are weak, deceptive, selective, and self serving at best.

Again, you clearly attempted to suggest here that millions of illegal aliens have nothing to do with taxes or big government.

Repeating a lie does not make it more true. I post that as the unequaled expert on what I was attempting on any particular occasion.

From my post 95 above: 'All Americans deserve Obama, since all Americans either supported him or failed to prevent his election.'

As a matter of curiosity, do you make a religion of lying, or is it just your standard practice?

Lucius Cornelius Sulla:

That was not the subject he was addressing, he was talking about the tax, big government issue.

Great article except for the next-to-last sentence. There’s not the least bit of chance that the Democrat Party is going to ‘switch sides’.

The repudiation of the California establishment in the series of initiative defeats could hardly have been more decisive.

This vote is the second great signal that the American people are getting fed up with corrupt politicians, arrogant bureaucrats, greedy interests and incompetent, destructive government.

In reality, you should be thanking those in California that annihilated these punitive big government actions, and put on the biggest tax revolt in modern memory.

Why would I do that? Newt Gingrich did, and you've been attacking him ever since.

I pointed out that Newt failed to point out what Californians did in the 1990s, when they overwhelmingly passed prop 187, which would have saved the tax payers tens of billions in regards to ending tax paid services for illegal aliens.

Of course you know this. And since I made that statement early up thread, you have made nothing but ignorant comments.

Outside of failing to mention Cal prop 187, it's a good factual article.

Of course you know this to.

But feel free to continue playing stupid.

Speaking of playing stupid, there is not much that is more stupid than criticizing a speech for what it is not about. Now that we have established that you are a Newt fan, my work here is done.

Live long and prosper!

There ya go again.

You cannot even mention California, taxes and big government in the same sentence without bringing up the fact that illegal aliens have cost CA and the *rest* of this country many tens of billions in taxes.

Of course you know this

But continue to stick you're head in the ground, and play stupid.

Another error: "California has a disastrously big government, which has led the politicians to raise taxes to ridiculous levels." See, I CAN do it!

Continue to ignore the facts above.

California has a disastrously big government, which has led the politicians to raise taxes to ridiculous levels.

Pisst..Get yourself updated, your living in the past.

Just keep pretending it's business as usual, and last weeks election among other historical elections in Cal, never occurred.

As if your own Federal Government has not been a disaster, and has balanced budgets and controlled spending.

Try sticking your head deeper in the sand.

At least we here in California, did something about it, and won round 1 in a total KO, while you stand barking on the sidelines in Florida.

I wish Newt had paid attention to the smaller government tide when he was Speaker.

Newts a Johnny come lately...When he sees people have finally had a belly full of government, he grabs the banner and wants to lead the parade.

It is a fact that the American public were conned by the 'rat-infested media into blaming Republicans for the gov shutdown. TV had stories about all the poor folk who would be harmed by the mean old Gingrich and his rightwing crackpot hooligans of the GOP.

The PR battle was lost before it started, and Newt had to call off the fight to avert even greater political ctastrophe.

Ask the next ten people you meet, Who caused the gov shutdown back in the '90s? If they even know it happend, 8 or 9 will say "Republicans."

This is a sentence of a character you said I could not write, but there it is, a sentence, and I wrote it, thus falsifying your statement. It is also a factually correct sentence. Your ranting does not change that. Take some more drugs and calm down.
