It's time for another Tea Party!
Dear Tea Party Patriots,
As you know Connecticut residents are faced with looming municipal & state & federal deficits, a gloomy job market, and some of the highest taxes in the nation. Join us in telling Governor Rell and our state legislators that their taxing & spending & borrowing policies are bad for Connecticut. Bring your family & friends, your signs & voices, and let them know that "We have had ENOUGH!"
WHO: Connecticut Tea Party Patriots WHAT: March On the Capitol WHERE: Hartford State Capitol WHEN: Thursday, May 28, 11 AM to 1 PM
Approximately 5,000 Patriots attended our Tax Day Tea Party on April 15, and we would like to have big numbers at this event. Please help us spread the word. Attached is a file with our event flyer. Please print some copies and pass them out at work, hand them out at meetings, post them on bulletin boards, or set up "take one" stands at local businesses. Please ask your family and friends to do the same.
Thank you for your interest and support! The Hartford Tea Party Organizers www.hartfordteaparty.org
If you received this e-mail in error and/or would like to be taken off our e-mail list then please let us know with a quick reply...
As an encouragement, there are already hundreds of Tea Parties planned for July 4th - as well as the weekend before and after the 4th, and as we can see on May 28th in Hartford! Get involved with your local Tea Party. Write a letter to the editor or call in to one of the local radio stations about the Tea Party in your locale or organize and provide logistics or go to your local capital and support the group there. And BE ENCOURAGED that this is going VIRAL. We must continue, as they cannot eventually ignore us:

WHOA, that’s not my car...but it should be! :)
Are you sure we can pull large numbers in the middle of the week?
I can probably make the first half of this.
Good to see you at the “Down With Dodd” Rally on Saturday, BTW.
The State Congress is in session, and holding a rally on a weekend when Congressmen and women are sitting home and sipping latte is meaningless. NO ONE SEES IT, Especially the people who NEED to see it!
THAT is why we are holding the rally on THURSDAY, THIS THURSDAY in the daytime, in the middle of the day, from 11AM till 1PM
Because Congress is in session and they Will SEE the Patriots who showed up and realize: They are surrounded and cant get away this time!!
If the loss of a days pay in support of freedom is such a burden, just think of the loss of a weeks pay in inaction to the CAP AND TRADE that COnnecticut is trying to pass, the rise in Ct Employees medical benefits, in Union kickbacks, in expanded social programs and in increased taxes on your gasoline!!
What is more important? Losing a days pay? Or losing 3 weeks pay in increased taxes if we DONT SHOW UP???
The COnnecticut Legislature needs to HEAR FROM US, THAT WE ARENT GOING TO TAKE IT!!

The event hasnt been widely advertised we suspect the organizers expect to fill it with Democrat sycophants to make it comfortable for the newcomer.
Please join us there to challenge him on every aspect of the socialist agenda hes been voting for and supporting since he took his seat for the first time in January. Be prepared with questions, but also be ready to ask good follow-up questions to the illusions hes likely to pass off as responses follow-ups can be most devastating to a charlatans presentation.
Please come lets pack the place and send him running back to his caucus with a reality check from we-the-people!!

We know this an awkward time. But as an incentive to all our Dump Dodd supporters and any friends you may bring, we will be offering a Pepe’s Pizza Tailgate party commencing at 5 PM in the Pequot Library parking lot.
Please RSVP here so we can get an accurate count. The Pepe’s Pizza will be delivered from Fairfield. You are encouraged to bring your own beverages. Adult beverages are neither suggested nor condoned.
Usually these Town Halls are attended by about 50-75 people. If we could get a large percentage......say 25% or more to participate, we may really have some fun controlling the questioning.
You make a good point in losing a days pay verse several weeks if your tax rates continue to rise. I hope you get a great turn out.
Another ping for Connecticut FReepers!
Hi Man50D! There is interest in the VAT.
