Yep. Of course, after the elections next year, she may no longer be a problem to us.
What would of course, be such poetic justice, is a GOP takeover of Congress, the election of a Great CONSERVATIVE Speaker and then we find a way to kick Zero and Plugs out of office.
Okay, I know......but I can DREAM, can’t I?
No way I would trust the folks in SF to believe she is lying, no matter how much an investigation says so. They will vote her back in if she was in an orange prison jump suit and shackles, as long as she blamed Bush.
How so? How would it benefit Hitlery?
Pelosi is merely a symptom of a pervasive rot among our political class.
No, it’s not time for Nanzi to step down yet.
That would only take the heat off the Democrats.
Every day Pelozi is Speaker of the House, the GOP gains.
Just my opinion, so no one throw a tinfoil hat at me, but I have long thought that one mantra holds true in politics. nobody screws a clinton (literally or figuratively) and gets away with it. i figure hitlery is waiting in the wings to step in in 4 years to say to the democrat masses “i told you he wasn’t ready... I can save us” A pelosi scandal just fuel for that fire. As i said, just my opinion.
“political class.”
The fact we even have one of these is very sad.
She is in near full fledged meltdown mode. A few more times in front of the camera (let alone a witness stand) should do it. They’ll be carting her out in a straightjacket. And rightly so.
An interesting sidenote. Rahm Emanuel realy wanted the Speaker of the House chair, not WH chief of staff. I wonder how the rest of the story unfolds.... the speed at which this mess is unraveling is nothing short of breathtaking.
Pelosi lied, people may have died.
Hang in there, Nancy, we need your incompetence right now!
LAUGH BREAK John Boehner or Lindsey Graham probably said to Nancy behind the scenes: "It's time Nancy. We gotta get Bush. We are all in this together. You oughta have a press conference to tell the world how the CIA lied to you." And Nancy said, " Gee, thanks, that's a great idea."
ROTFL.
DUMMY DID IT TO HERSELF Let's not forget how Pelosi got herself into this mess. DEMOCRATS were hot to "get Bush" ...... salivating to nail 'im with lawsuits. Then people started asking: What did Congress know? Weren't intelligence commitees briefed? Et voila. Pelosi was ranking member of the House Intel Committe at that time.
"If COS doesn't work out, I'm gonna take that job as spokeman
for sanitary sexual organs. Anybody got a rolled-up sock handy?"
With her integrity increasingly in doubt, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi should step down for the good of the country. It is clear as the story unfolds that she knew as much about waterboarding as anyone in the Bush administration, and thus, her only motive for hiding what she knew is for partisan political purposes. This is hypocrisy at its worst.Quibble: her integrity has never been in doubt -- she has none and had none. Also, she should *not* step down, she should stay and fight. Right now she's getting the full treatment, and she shouldn't put up with it. I don't like her one bit, but we don't need an Obama yes-man in the job. The only upside if she resigns from Congress as well as stepping down as Speaker is, well, not sure -- would Ahnold then get to name her replacement?
No, no! Please don’t go, Nancy!
On one hand, she is self defeating for her cause, on the other hand, she is 3rd in line for POTUS.
I would have to take mine off to do that, and that isn't going to happen. ;-)
Stupid people shouldn’t lie!!!
I'm inclined as are some others here that it's best for her to hang in. The more this disrupts the House the better and hopefully the GOP will figure out how to use this to their advantage. If she goes then someone (Hoyer?) more Obama friendly will get in and all of this will be forgotten.
