Former Vice President Dick Cheney will appeal a CIA decision denying his request for the release of memos he's contended are crucial to proving the success of "enhanced interrogation techniques" of detainees.

Cheney's office released a two-sentence statement reacting to the denial, "The Obama Administration has denied Vice President Cheney's request for the declassification of two documents that provide information about the effectiveness of the detainee program. Vice President Cheney is preparing his appeal to this denial."

They both look as though they have seen the face of evil. Good men, Bush and Cheney facing the darkest of forces that they fought so hard and valiantly and humbly to save us from. This photo is priceless.

Not even close.

Neither is Cheney wishing that their roles had been reversed. Nor would he like being used to batter his friend and boss.

Anyone else wishing it had been President Cheney in command and Vice President Bush in the undisclosed location?

Perhaps in 100 years, the history books may reveal what really happened here:

and here:

Because after some of the curious events this week, it seems as if
Team Obama has overplayed its hand, and/or someone is fighting back
from within.

Dick Cheney is a good man. And good men see good in others. I figure that’s why he is a good friend of President Bush and was willing to serve as his VP.

And this from POTUS who read from his TOTUS:

“The Freedom of Information Act should be administered with a clear presumption: In the face of doubt, openness prevails. The Government should not keep information confidential merely because public officials might be embarrassed by disclosure, because errors and failures might be revealed, or because of speculative or abstract fears…All agencies should adopt a presumption in favor of disclosure, in order to renew their commitment to the principles embodied in FOIA, and to usher in a new era of open Government. The presumption of disclosure should be applied to all decisions involving FOIA.”

I know; I just wish there was a way to reach him so that he knows that there are millions of Americans who are grateful to him for what he’s doing right now. I have to think that sometimes he feels he’s the only one out there and he must feel so alone at times. I would love for him to know that most of us love this man to death. :)

[Now...if you could have him punch Bammy out. ;o)]

Lol, couldn’t as I just cut out what was real. The next scenes had President Bush hugging Obama bigtime!! That’s why Obama’s hand is out - it’s really on Bush’s arm.

Glad you liked it DC.

Oh...I didn’t think there would be anyway you could have Cheney punch him out.

But, if you ever have the material...;o)

I do love that graphic, though.
As I said, the look on Cheney’s face is wonderful.

BTW, we don’t need to see Bush hug Obama.

Ick...

No, that would have turned too many stomachs here and started a Bush bash, which I don't want, lol.

And - I COULD make Cheney punch Obama out. Good idea if things continue, lol.

As agressive as Cheney is being, you might just get the material you need. ;o)

Good to “see” you!
I’m off for the night...

Exactly. Things might have gone in a better direction if we had had a Cheney/Bush ticket.
