Lot's o' reasons but most importantly is the child being given loving attention for the child's sake? V. beautiful and v. stylish have nothing to do with good parenting on the issue of gender orientation. One might say preoccupation with beauty and style directs focus of parent elsewhere than child causing child to attention-seek. Just saying . . . .
I was thinking that it is quite common to either be attracted to or repelled by your parents.
A real girly-girl mom could have had quite a repelling influence on her daughter, who felt she was being dressed up like a little dolly. I’ve seen it happen.
Excellent thinking. Come to think of it, my beautiful stylish friend is as shallow as they come. Though intelligent, her entire focus is on surfaces.
