Focusing on image is a common trap in our corrupt society, one into which I fall too often. I cannot help but think of the very good advice Moses gave us not to make images of any kind.
Well, I think what’s going on is that children inherently know when they are being treated poorly. Thus Jesus taught that like them we enter His kingdom. But we seldom teach children to complain when the shabby conduct is by an adult, particularly a parent. A child knows when he is being treated as an object through which an unfulfilled parent is trying to realize their own desire to be seen as beautiful (or athletic or successful or a million other curses we visit on them). Teach your children well. Do not hinder them.
A hypnotherapist friend with very good training mentioned that women who decide to become lesbians "square off" their bodies. Buy shapeless mannish squarish clothes. Even get those square haircuts.
Apparently a waistline is a big threat to their lesbian identity. Or perhaps the poor things just cannot lose weight, look at themselves in the mirror and say, "Oh what the hey, no man would ever love me again, might as well become a lesbian." OTOH, women like Paula Deane square off but dress to the nines in beautiful colors and layers of expensive fabrics that drape nicely even over their barrelish midsections.
well, the following is for those who declare themselves to be “scientific” minded...
2 persons ( both born male gender ) identical twins,
one is a non-heterosexual and the other is a non-homosexual,
even their retina are identical for security clearance;
so why ??? how does the “genetics” or DNA play in this ???
anyone care to explain that with verifiable references ???
Bump
>> There is no consensus among scientists about the exact reasons that an individual develops a heterosexual...
No reason to include “heterosexual” in that statement unless the “scientists” are complete idiots.
Consuming wood alcohol turns one into a homo if not death? Who knew...
