WASHINGTON Senator John McCain on Thursday welcomed President Obamas decision to oppose the release of photographs documenting prisoner abuse in Iraq and Afghanistan by United States military personnel, even as criticism continued from groups of the left.
We are still in a war, said Senator McCain, the Arizona Republican who is a member of the Armed Services Committee. The publication of those photographs would have given help to the enemy in the psychological side of the war we are in. I applaud the presidents decision."
The former Republican presidential candidate made his remarks during a hearing of the armed services panel, where Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates was testifying on the military budget.

Funny how the MSM is so interested in what McLame thinks.....as they are trying to peg someone as being the ‘head’ of the RNC.

Like Rush said, if Obama really wanted to stop publication all he had to do was issue an Executive Order. He chose a path where the Justice Department can rule for release against the recommendation of the President and Obama cannot then be blamed for the result.

So McCain has now mee-tooed the sentiment of much more conservative Republicans, whose vigorous pressure in turn caused Obama to back off. Where’s the big news here?

Exactly.
Will the MSM state the Limbaugh backs Obama on blocking abuse photos?
Will the MSM cite Limbaugh as saying that Pelosi deserves a medal for approving waterboarding (which he did state)?

Aren’t they losing money hand over fist?
Why don’t they just get a picture of McCain kissing Obama’s bony ass and save ink and newsprint by not printing out those long headlines?

They don’t want the pictures released because they will show Obambi, McLame, and Peloosi dressed in drag waterboarding and otherwise molesting inmates. I’m sure there’s some enterprising Freeper that can put together a Photoshop of that scenario!!

What the A-hole should have said is that he applauds Cheney for pressuring 0bama to fold.
