It appears to call into question the longstanding assertion of Speaker Nancy Pelosi that she was never told that waterboarding and other methods were actually used, only that the Central Intelligence Agency believed they were legal and could be used.
The chart said that at the first briefing, on Sept. 4, 2002, Ms. Pelosi, then the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, and Representative Porter J. Goss, the committee’s Republican chairman, were given a “description” of the interrogation methods that “had been employed” against a prisoner, Abu Zubaydah.

Obama himself. And, of course, Steny Hoyer -- but he doesn't have the clout with the Times to get a hit piece published.
Obama is taking her down because Pelosi fancied herself a separate power center. And there is also likely some bad blood between Rahm Emanuel and Miss Nancy.
Recall that Nancy put Rahm in charge of leading the Democrats to victory in the 2006 Congressional elections. He was successful and, as a result, Nancy got the Speakership.
But can you imagine what it would be like to work under Pelosi, at her direction? And how much thanks do you suppose he got for getting her where she is.

Luckilly, in good foresight, I stocked up on ammo well befor the mad craze. However, you can NEVER have enough ammo and magazines.

Lets consider this...both Reid and Pelosi have no real relationship with Obama. I think both run their own games in their respective areas. I would suggest that Obama needs Pelosi out and get one of his big supporters into the position. The leaks? They are all intentional. The question here...who is the Pelosi replacement, and is this health-plan now tied to a sinking Pelosi empire so it will naturally fail? I think this is all part of the same game.
Well, Nancy can always go back to her former vocation, that of Catholic Theologian. Things haven’t changed much since the 60’s right?

It's an interesting spin on "she had been told that it was already being used." Of course she couldn't have prevented it from being used on that particular individual. That's entirely irrelevant. She was told it had been. And it's beginnning to look like quite a few people were. They're starting to cast this as "failure of oversight," but it was no such thing, it's second-guessing a perfectly effective oversight. That's a little less morally high-sounding and so you won't hear it until there's no other choice.
LOL. Now that is a responsive governmental agency...
This entire story must be from Prez Obey-me to replace Pelosi with “his” guy and the NYT are simply assisting our marxist prez.

The Times wants Pelosi gone so 0bama can have someone more in line with his ideals.
