Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), the 2008 vice presidential nominee, will join a new Republican policy group aimed at reshaping and promoting the party brand.
House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.)announced Palins decision to join the National Council for a New America on Monday night. The group launched late last week and held its first town hall-style forum on Saturday in Virginia.
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), the 2008 presidential nominee, indicated during a conference call last week that his former running mate had been invited to join the policy panel. The group, which is made up of prominent Republican leaders, plans to hold town hall meetings across the country over the next few months.
Palins absence from the group had prompted questions about whether she was snubbing it or being left out.
May or may not be, may be that folks like you are part of the devil’s oppressive scheme for keeping him captive.
Trotting out a picture of Abraham Lincoln standing next to Jefferson Davis, pre-conflict, wouldn’t mean a blessed thing. Most Freepers agree. The Bush family has been extraordinarily bad for the Republican party, and bad in a way that Ronald Reagan could never have known until history was allowed to unfold.
I hope your version turns out to be the right one.
I don’t mind her supporting McCain but I do mind if she becomes a supporter of RINO’s en masse next year.
I would appreciate Sarah lining up behind Pat Toomey here in PA right now.
As I said you keep dishonestly twisting your argument.
I don’t give a hoot about the Bush family. I was calling you out for your sneering attacks on Palin, in which you alleged that no Conservative should have anything ever to do with Bush/Ford/Rockefeller types. She did nothing comparable like... say... picking Bush as Veep. Yet a different standard applies to her, only because it fits your tortured argument.
Have you already found proof for your claim that the Palin’s were cashing in 300,000 $ from People Magazine?
You pass judgement upon someone you don’t know. Step lightly fool.
Ronald was gone-ald by the time Clinton’s regime was coming to a close and GWB made the primaries. The son is responsible for his own sins, not his dad’s. Jeb actually did better than his brother, staying locally in Florida (though we all wish the run-in with the godless Greer over Terri, in which both George and Jeb were ignominiously forced back, had never had to take place).
Your manner of bearing the sword of the Word is more reminiscent of an abortion doctor in an operating room hacking blindly than of a skillful life saving surgeon. A plea from a bothered brother: cool it. Permit things to play out a bit with Sarah before getting back into critique mode.
You believe everything the MSM claims about Palin? LOL!
MSM News: I believe we’re responding to a CSPAN reported Jeb & Romney event. Follow the Bristol threads here. It’s well known that Bristol was paid for the baby pictures. Some Freepers have even praised her for it.
Disassemble that straw man and put the straw back in the barn where it belongs.
You tout Reagan and bash Sarah even though Patti and Non were much worse behaved than Bristol could dream of being and I don’t recall him publicly condemning them. His wife also dabbled in divination, which many christians consider to be a grave sin. Don’t misconstrue this as a criticism of Reagan. He’s arguably our greatest President.
Tedious truism. A lot of things are being claimed "and well known" about the Palins. Most of them outright smears. You try to sell me some Examiner, MSNBC, MSM tripe... no thanks.
bullseye
Ronnie, however, wasn’t playing the PTA soccer mom with his wayward tikes, and he wasn’t even touting his own belief in the way that Sarah has. If she doesn’t want to be the “believing” candidate, she doesn’t have to be, but, clearly, for believers the standards are higher. Having said that, Ronnie Jr. was an embarassment to the greatest president of the 20th century. He was no asset. Bristol is not really a calling card for Sarah either.
Not to forget Ronny Jr. the uber-liberal.
Nope. You are the problem. You compare human to animal when you use the word ‘rut’. But from your previous postings it is quite clear how you value women.
This is a smart and pragmatic move by Gov. Palin.
Not only she will give her Conservative message but
the few obvious ones who get snarky or off message,
this will highlight Gov. Palin’s Conservative message
and her working accomplishments.
Gov. Palin draws the hugh crowds and energizes them
as some wish they could but never will.

Rush Limbaugh defended Palin and heralded her as the most prominent and articulate voice for conservatism.
I wish I could minus the far-more (stinky) from the list, but as for everybody else, let’s all agree to ignore it (but of course never to ignore the Lord).
