An uncle of mine, an atheists by the way, was studying for his PhD in geology many years ago.
When while studying geological records said he believe they proved the flood. He has since become a born again Christian. Funny how that works.

God clearly states in the Bible he will NEVER again flood the earth.
Non starter.

A friend of mine is getting his degree in geology. He says the proff’s flip out whenever anyone questions their dogma. I mean flip out. He is one of the smartest people I know, and he tells me the the sediment layers, and how oil is found scream flood.

there doesn’t seem to be any evidence for global flooding in the research presented. very large catastrophic floods yes, but localized nonetheless.

I’m double-pinging this one because it’s that important IMHO. Isn’t it interesting that uniformitarianism is giving way to catastrophism?...especially as it relates to megafloods!

As non-secular Geologists no longer considered a Global Flood after the 1830s (Before Darwin’s voyage), I’d say the question is to be answered in the negative.
