Who are they? Are they legitimately able to claim the mantle of leadership of the national tea party movement?
I’m pretty suspicious and I don’t remember any election among tea party groups to elect leadership of a national coalition.
likewise - im with ya
“Nationwide Tea Party Coalition” Never heard of this bunch: This bunch sounds like interlopers to me!
Yes, they’re legit.
Same here. I’m independent of any group other than Americans.
Looks like you and I agree.
Don't presume to talk for me.
Michael Patrick Leahy wrote a book about Sarah Palin.
W.T.F. ??
Looks like these are some of the people who organized locally and decided to band together if there’s something worth doing nationally.
Nobody has to follow this team, but at least give them credit for not standing around with their thumb up their butt and called Obama’s bluff.
Like most things, it’s whoever wants to do the work that winds up out in front.
“Im pretty suspicious and I dont remember any election among tea party groups to elect leadership of a national coalition.”
I don’t like this at all.
1. No one told them speak for the rest.
2. There is no way they should be speaking to that cheeky Kenyan Bastard or any of his other crooks.
Where would FR be without the looney-eyed skeptics?
“Who are they? Are they legitimately able to claim the mantle of leadership of the national tea party movement?”
NEGATIVE. This gentleman tried to claim the mantle of “leader” in a movement that only maintains credibility when there IS NO leader.
He speaks for only a very small fraction of TP organizers, almost all of whom, like myself, call no one individual “leader” and only loosely coordinate activities through national “clearing-house” type websites.
Bullcrap,, pure Bullcrap. Thats code for centralize all healthcare money into the government, so they can dole it out more efficiently. That aint a tea party concept, and who are these “leaders”?
That SOB is trying to fold in the tea party movement into his marxist revolution. These “leaders” dont speak for me.
P.S.
If anyone knows these so called leaders, e-mail them and tell them they are on their own. They are speaking for themselves and no one else.
P.S. again.
I find this alarming!
Pulling out my popcorn...here kitty...
“Are they legitimately able to claim the mantle of leadership of the national tea party movement?”
I’d say “No.” It was/is grass-roots, with no tangible leadership. Sounds like they’re jumping on a successful bandwagon.
So much for the Grassroots leaderless movement.
