Don’t forget amnesty. If passed that will marry the Hispanic vote to the Democrats and it is game over. The only hope then would be for things to get so bad under the Democrats that it is practically a revolution.

Specter was a paper tiger as a Republican anyway. Yes, Obama is going to get everything he wants, but he's pretty much gotten that anyway to this point.
The first step in repairing the GOP brand is to make sure that it actually MEANS something. Having frauds like Arlen Specter in your party makes a mockery of everything you supposedly stand for.
The next 2-4 years are going to be ugly--it's true. You'll have two choices: 1.) give up and go hang yourself in despair, or 2.) keep fighting with a leaner, more focused, more conservative team on our side.
For those of you who pick option 1, good riddance.
