WASHINGTON (AP) - U.S. officials will begin asking travelers about illness if they're entering the country from areas with confirmed swine flu.

City health officials say preliminary tests of samples taken from sick students’ noses and throats confirmed that at least eight had a non-human strain of influenza type A, indicating probable cases of swine flu. The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was conducting tests to make a definitive determination.

Heraldo Rivera’s show interviewed a woman Californian official that we are actively checking people at the border for Swine flu, no need to worry, no neeed to close the border. This dits has our best interests at hand?, the incubation is 4 days. She smiled and was so happy to be interviewed by Rivera like this was American Idol. Sickening! My only hope is that when this is truley behind us, and I mean all we have endured from January on, we hold each and every one accountabe.

Well, apparently they're finally recommending not to travel to Mexico unnecessarily (though there's "no cause for alarm"). That makes... what, two times when Obama did something smart, both about a day too late?
