The men, decorated veterans of more than 40 tours of duty in Chechnya, said not only suspected rebels but also people close to them were systematically tracked, abducted, tortured and killed. Intelligence was often extracted by breaking their limbs with a hammer, administering electric shocks and forcing men to perform sexual acts on each other. The bodies were either buried in unmarked pits or pulverised.

I wish upon the traitors in the United States the same treatment.
I’m assuming this is Russian regular army? I can’t be wasting time reading the article as I’m busy Swine/Avian/Human proofing my house.
Trash and scum, warriors should do what they can to kill monsters that do such things.
There is nothing good and noble that lies at the end of that road.
I wonder if those types of torture trump Obama’s plan to show open Playboy magazines and posed photos...
The Left is sick.
“One very effective method is the grand piano - when one by one wed smash the captives fingers with a hammer. Its dirty and difficult work. You would not be human if you enjoyed it but it was the only way to get this filth to talk.
A hammer would also be used to smash a captives kneecaps and militants would be forced to perform sexual acts. The scenes would occasionally be filmed and circulated among enemy combatants in psychological warfare.
We are not murderers. We are officers engaged in a war against brutal terrorists who will stop at nothing, not even at killing children. They are animals and the only way to deal with them is to destroy them. There is no room for legal niceties in a war like this. Only those who were there can truly understand. I have no regrets. My conscience is clear. “
The Russians are tough. But I bet they never went so far as to put panties on heads of detainees, say that a harmless bug released into a cell will sting, or play the Barney Song for hours? Now that would be going too far.
There’s that popular (among terrorist-loving liberals) “T” word again. I think the liberal wackos are now using “enhanced interrogation techniques” in order to cut down on their bed wetting at night.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` (The Russians don't mess around!)
A reminder of why Russians are such failures, and why even their nation is disappearing, while ours expands and grows.
I have to say that their tactics are quite brutal...but then I look at the tactics of terrorists, killing innocents for ideology. At least the Russians are killing them for murder.
Still, quite brutal.
I wonder what Pelosi would say about the Russian warfare tactics against terrorists. She’d probably think waterboarding was a walk in the park.
Disturbing article...
I don’t think you understand. Ronald Reagan summed it up when he said “Peace through Stength”.
If you are the baddest on the block, hardly, or no one, will mess with you.
Do you know how the Soviets dealt with the Terrorists who kidnapped their people in the past?
“...breaking their limbs with a hammer, administering electric shocks and forcing men to perform sexual acts on each other...”
Now THAT, is good old-fashioned TORTURE. Not this B.S. the democrats are screaming about in this country.
Yeah, I'm not so sure about that.
I know, but comparatively speaking is what I meant.
I can’t say that I do.
President and the man Ronald Reagan didn't see things like the Communists, so what is your point?
Yep...the Russians have never played around when it comes terrorists. Especially after the Moscow opera and Beslan school massacre, I believe most Russians are fully aware and supportive of these interrogation methods.
I seem to recall there were 0 terrorists taken prisoner in both incidences. At least if there were prisoners, they lived only long enough to provide information to the Russians.
The only problem is that we succeed and Russia is naturally seen as a failure.
Why is life like that? It is because the Russians fail and we succeed.
