During the fight over the porkulus bill, I was personally outraged that it included several billion for the groundwork of government run healthcare. Especially since this wasn't being reported in the press.
Finally, right before it passed, a Fox news babe was interviewing Arlen and she brought up the healthcare provisions. Arlen briefly got that deer in the headlights look and then recovered and assured the news babe he would see to it the provisions would be removed before he voted for the bill.
Sure he did.
Arlen, you're going down and it's about time.
This "proud to be a teabagger" is completely fed up and pissed off at you and your kind. Have a nice retirement with your fat Senatorial pension and fabulous health insurance. Go ahead, enjoy my tax dollars.

And despite the anger of Pennsylvania voters (and many nationwide), the GOP leadership STILL wants to back the traitor Specter???
They need to pay attention to what the people want!
Good job, Pennsylvania! Keep it up! Don’t let that RINO get re-elected!
GO TOOMEY!!!!!

PA is not an open primary state, but Specter has a campaign aimed at unions to switch parties right before the primary so they can vote for him. That’s why we think he’s a pig here in PA.

Fifty-one percent (51%) of Republican voters statewide say theyd vote for Toomey while just 30% would support Specter.Unfortunately, Republican voters DO NOT elect candidates in the REpublican primaries.
With all the dim spies and crossovers and other shenanigans we wind up with some amalgam of a dim...i.e. a S P E C T R E or a McCain.
Is Pennsy one of those states???

Yeah but here’s the thing. Not as many Dems will cross-over and support Specter as you think. I think the DNC is going to encourage its voters to get behind their candidate as they look at Specter’s age and insider status. Either way you look at it, Specter is toast. He’s not going to beat Toomey and even if he does, the Dem will win as PA conservatives will stay home or vote 3rd party.

With all the dim spies and crossovers and other shenanigans we wind up with some amalgam of a dim. Not going to happen this time. Dems are going to get behind a psuedo-fiscal conservative Dem to beat Toomey. Dems have nothing to gain by backing Specter, who still votes with Republicans 60% of the time.

Let us hope this is the first wave of a coming mighty tsunami that will wash away all non-conservative Republicans in Congress. Senate and House.

It is too early to get excited.
The actual vote is 13 months away and Snarlin’ Arlen will vote and talk like a conservative during those 13 months.
This is his modus operandi every time.

It’s about time that this self-serving, hypocrit gets tossed. A bunch more deserve the same fate. I can think of a former presidential nominee, some northeast republicats, and party leaders that need to go home.
The grassroots of the country is stirring and Washington, D.C. won’t know what hit it because the media ostriches have their heads in the sand.
