The only crime here is that a grand jury is being called to investigate.

Pascagoula police said Snigg and his mother acted appropriately, taking the actions they felt necessary to protect themselves.
Well excuse me, but hold on there Bunky!
- The mother should have 1st dialed 9-1-1
- THEN woke up her son.
- Then she should have asked the burglar to stop.
- If he didn't stop, mom and son should have surrendered
- Then gave 'Javorous' anything he wanted, including ice cream and cookies.
- Then let him out the front door so he wouldn't strain a muscle climbing back out the window
And THEN, when the Cops showed up 15 minutes later they could draw the chalk outlines of the DEAD mom and son as Javorous Darnell Tims prolly would have killed them anyway.
When you're named Javorous you are doomed and will face an early death. Thanks 'mom'.

Not to mention the Darwin Award judges. Suicides by stupidity keep these folks very busy.

We live in the south, I assume that most people are armed, it does not scare me, just a fact. My children were taught to shoot at very young ages, they were also taught that if you break into someones house or mess with anyone’s property you will be shot as well.
To: SWAMPSNIPER
Javorous is Latin for “unsucessful thug”.

And Snigg is actually an acronym for
“Stop nightly intruders! Get gun!”

That's the first thing I thought of too.
Kid, you need more range time.
To: Islander7
Police say they wont identify the woman or her son, who offered the nickname Snigg, for fear of retribution. Although I imagine that if you were to go to the Grenada apartment complex on Chicot road, asking "Where's 'Snigg' live?", it wouldn't be hard to find him.

What precautions do you suggest, guess you could evaluate all possibilities and draw an X for the intruder to stand on ... if he is cooperative. On the other hand #1 buck fired into the chest would greatly reduce the chance of collateral damage.

The only crime here is that a grand jury is being called to investigate. It's good for the shooter. Grand Jury no bills, and he can't ever be charged again because of double jeopardy. Police won't testify against him, the prosecutor won't push it.

Black Americans want to protect their families evey bit as much as any other color people. Or most of them do, just like any other color people. The ones that don’t are the hard core liberals. *they* prefer to help the animals that would rob. rape, torture, mutilate amd kill their families,
Because they are “good” people...with DCVE (Death Camp Victim Envy) How can they be movable if they aren’t being persecuted victims??????

Yup, the kid's a minor. It will be hard to prosecute him for protecting his mother and their home. But the perp’s family can still sue even with the obvious intent of the perp.
This legal system is twisted beyond repair.
