WASHINGTON -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Thursday rejected calls for an independent commission to investigate harsh interrogation methods used by the Central Intelligence Agency, making such a panel unlikely.
The Nevada Democrat said he wanted to wait until an investigation by the Senate Intelligence Committee is completed. That panel's hearings will be closed and its chairman, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.), said in a letter to President Barack Obama that the work could take six to eight months.

Look at the new mouth and teeth... Not quite as ugly as before. I caught it immediately because a couple of years ago I sent her an e-mail and told her to shut her ugly mouth, because she had ugly teeth, and what came out of that mouth was just as ugly. HumHo
Oh and while we're at it, they need to put her corrupt hubby in jail...she was taking money from his multimillion dollar real estate corp and transferring it into her political action account...such a bunch of crooks. Not alot of publicity on that, the lib media dropped it fast.

Reid actually is being wise as far as protecting his party’s interests. Granted, he may not be smart enough to be doing it for the right reasons.
But just imagine a public hearing and the Jack Nicholson “you can’t handle the truth moment”. The one where some Bush official or military officials lays out what doing nothing to KSM would have led to. Then follows it up by pointing to the members of the committee who were fully briefed on the interrogation methods.
Game. Set. Match. The public turns on Congress (it would be Ollie North times 100).
Caught a Rollins-Carville discussion about the tactics used against terrorists on CNN. Was curious as a barometer of insight is easy to understand as Carville is a hack advisor behind the scenes.
Carville was completely rational and clearly was wishing for “this to go away” and he was clearly speaking for the Obamunists but at the same time, he said it won’t because of “reporters” and stuff.
Bottom line: Obama used national security (again) for a cheap political ploy and now it’s blowing up in his face.
Encourage it. It will only get worse for Obama. People are going to realize that he is a crass narcissist who gave Al Qaeda a handbook on the US.
And now his moonbats want blood. The blood they were promised and they never got. They want that blood so bad for Bush or anyone close to him they will even fight for KSM himself.
Watch. It’s going to get ugly. For the first time I can say I understand why so many took precautions using their 2nd amendment rights. Although I am a member of the NRA I don’t own a firearm. Just personal choice. (I live in fifth floor walkup. Anyone who makes it that far will go down from my minibat.)
