Given the remarkable hospitality and generosity of the people of Canada (especially the people of Gander, Newfounland) showed to many, many people bound for the United States on September 11, 2001, Janet Napolitano's comments are both insulting and stupid.

To any Canadians reading this: THANK YOU for the warm and generous acts of kindness you gave to many people when America was under attack on September 11. And please accept our apologies that so many Americans elected to elect the man who appointed Napolitano Homeland Security Secretary.
