LOL..just the proud daughter of a late father that wanted to name me ‘Penelope’ and the barking women in the family would not let him....and I am perpetually pissed off these days.
I laugh alot though....LOL.
Good strategy, that keeps them distracted while you slip the shiv to them... /g
I have never seen a Taco Salad on the menu. The one I worked at always had long lines which lead out the door and people standing and waiting for a place to sit.
I had never heard of Culver’s prior to October, 2008, so I am not sure what it was like prior to that as they are fairly new in Arizona.
Because they want to dork!
ROTFLOL!!
” True, I was. Thanks for the re-education, comrade! :)”
You’re most welcome comrade! The re-education camps are going to be full enough. If I can educate you now, the better off it will be for the Obamafueher.
Why shouldn’t they? Not everybody is broke. And they just might have customers that want something a little better than their usual junk.
I worked there for 6 years, I eat the food sometimes (didn’t eat much fast food before I worked there). My primary rule is to avoid the things that were on the menu when I worked there.
“My primary rule is to avoid the things that were on the menu when I worked there.?
well, what the heck did you eat then , razor? LMAO
Didn’t have that rule then. Then I was a minimum wage worker getting 1 half priced or free (depending on what duties I was doing that day) meal every day I worked, 2 if it was a monster shift. Being a minimum wage worker sucks, I remember taking extra shifts just for the food.
Now I can be pickier, though sometimes life makes McD the best choice, but in those times I’d rather pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, so I get stuff that I never made.
looks like you do not have any Korean Restaurants up your way. We don’t have them here either, i went to one in Chicago. Different! Don’t miss the kimchi!
Kimchi is available in most of the markets in town. I eat it about once a month. Sometimes in place of sauerkraut. San Diego has lots of Korean restaurants in the Clairemont Mesa area.
We have a Mongolian BBQ here too but I’ve never been. My son and his wife have gone there though and rave about it. We have a place here called Genghis Grill - it sounds a lot like what you describe. We like to go there for lunch sometimes because we get a discount b/c we are county employees.
Strangely enough, there are no Applebee’s or Cracker Barrels in my city although there are in some of the surrounding suburbs.
I like to stop at CB when I’m on the road and get a good breakfast (which I hardly ever eat when I’m home).
Ahem...that likely woulda been yours truly; every time I see a burger thread, I pop up a double-double pic to piss everybody that's hungry off....
Man, that is even better than the other picture.
I hate you.
Our very first trip, believe it or not (because it's always lined up down the street), was Christmas Eve after church a couple of years ago....we went to the 4pm Mass and figured we'd eat at one of the local Mexican places afterwards............but every place was closed, even at 5:30, until we got to In-N-Out -- wide open, nobody in line, and their 25 (usually ass busting) employees waiting for customers.
You heard correctly. They are delicious. Nearest one I know of (SF Bay Area) is in Concord, in the SunValley Mall.
