A couple years ago. There was a referendum. It was close.
This has been in the state constitution for over 130 years. It’s just that when you get less and less people exercising their rights, eventually you lose them. And it has been extremely difficult getting them back, if you can get them back at all.
I belive the consitional amendment was passed in 88 and it wasn’t even close I belived it passed by 78%.
