Do what you want. Just don't put laws into place controlling me. Give me liberty or give me death. Don't use the government to keep me alive longer than I want. Who's the libertarian here?

I am not telling you how to lead your life, nor telling your father how to live his, but I implore you not to damage others by causing them to act against their own guiding principles. Your own father's actions were his own, and yours are yours. If your father had caused his own death, so be it. Many mechanisms are available for this task.
